  1. I thinks it because He want us to be in His presence and try draw closers to Him. I thinks sometime we not very receptive, sometimes we is. I spose the better option to do is praise and again I say worship Him. Spend time in his presence yes.
  2. I spose you could possibly ask God, once you have gained this insight, what the next step to do is.
  3. When David needs more than a yes or no as an answer, God gives him further directions.
  4. No is just as important because sometimes you could be asking God if you should do something that could have a negative impact on jur life. It is important to get the answer no sometimes.
  5. Q3. (Acts 19:21; 20:22-24; 21:12-14) What would have happened if Paul hadn't been sure of his instructions from the Holy Spirit to go to Jerusalem? Would you have tried to dissuade him? It's comforting to receive encouraging words. What level of maturity does it take to receive a direction that might lead us into hardship and danger? What happens when we choose the easy way, when God leads us on a difficult path? If Paul wasn’t sure about what he was supposed to do, he could have possible asked God for further guidance. I Bryan would not have tried to persuade him in a negative way, because if people of God allow negative things in their lives, they slowly grow lesser tuned to God and that is dangerous. It take a great level of trust and reasonable level of maturity to receive a direction that is hard and scary. It is always better to choose God’s path than your own easy path. I am not sure what would happen if you chose the easy way but I’m sure that if you choose God’s way, He will be there with you.
  6. Q2. (2 Corinthians 12:9a; Acts 18:9-10; 23:11; 27:24) How do you think it feels to Paul for God to personally encourage him when he is afraid and hurting? What do we learn about God that he speaks to Paul in this way? Paul pobably is energized when God encourages him. The thoughts of his pain and fears don’t affect him as much or atall. We learn that God cares about His children and helps us because He doesn’t like it when He sees us in pain.
  7. Q1. (1 Kings 17-19) Why do you think the author contrasts the "still small voice" to the wind, earthquake, and fire? How does God's voice comfort and renew Elijah? Why is it easy to miss God when his voice is gentle and quiet? I believe this is saying God is powerful but also gentle and kind. God’s voice/word contains power and energy to do things, I thinks God’s voice sends positive energy and strength to restore Elijah. It can be easy to miss God’s voice if we are not tuned to His vocals.
  8. Q4. (1 Corinthians 2:9-16) How does the Holy Spirit make “the mind of Christ” available to us? How does this make you dependent upon the Holy Spirit? How does this relate to listening for God’s voice? The Spirit searches up all things. If we are tuned to Him, we can hear His words. The Holy Spirit can reveal to us many things and secrets, for that we need the Holy Spirit. In the same way we have to be tuned to the Holy Spirit, we must be equally tuned to God the Father
  9. Q3. (John 14-16) What promises concerning the Paraclete -- Comforter -- Counselor -- Helper -- Holy Spirit does Jesus give in John chapters 14-16? How do these relate to guidance? To "hearing" God? The Holy Spirit shall live with you forever. He wil teach you all things. He’ll brings things that Jesus taught back to remembrance. He will guide you to the truth
  10. Q2. (John 5:19, 30) Why do you think Jesus said, "By myself I can do nothing"? (vs. 30). How do you justify this statement with Jesus' divine nature as the Son of God? In what ways can we use Jesus' example as a pattern for our own life and ministry? How do you think Jesus would "see" and "hear" the Father? When Jesus became man, He left some of his divinity behind. So he was fully God but in human form. With God in Him, He was able to do all things. But if He did not have that relationship with God, He wouldn’t have been able. We can use what we know about Jesus’s early morning time and take it into thought for our own lives, and consider on a similar routine.
  11. Q1. (Mark 1:33-39) What pattern do you see emerging in Jesus' prayer life? Why do you think he spends Quiet Time with the Father before the day begins? How does this prepare him for his ministry? How did the disciple desires for Jesus differ from what Jesus felt impelled to do? (Mark 1:37-38) Why? Do you have a Quiet Time? What could you do to improve the quality of your time with God each day Rising up early before anyone else. Going to a quiet place. Spending time with God.His mind is in the right state from the very start of the day before everyone else is awake. He can think and see in ways others can’t. yes. Increase time spent with God
