  1. Q.4 (Philippians 3:9;Genesis 15:6;Habakkuk 2:4) Abraham had been a moon worshipper. According to Genesis 15:6, how does he come into right relationship with the God who created all? A. Faith trust and belief. It took Abraham a while I believe to come to that point. How can a person today become righteous by faith? A. Believing in Jesus trusting him. What is involved in really "trusting" Christ? A. Relationship intimacy
  2. How do legalism and the resulting spiritual pride prevent us from trusting in Christ by faith, and knowing him? A. I have gotten caught up in self doing it my way. Growing up took care of family members at a young age I got caught up doing it my way thinking I knew what was best. But in reality didnt, meant well but didnt. Since coming to Christ been a struggle to put all trust in Jesus after doing my way for so many years, being honest here been hard. But Jesus has been really kind and gentle and merciful to me in my growth with him he truly has been. I'm not trying to make excuses just being real. So the Lord has had to break me from pride in all shapes and sizes keeping me humbled, which is good. I believe pride hautiness, arrogance are things he doesn't like at all separates us( not his love). So doing it my way I was trusting self not Jesus. I was on the throne not Jesus, so I ask Jesus to kick me off please, he be King not me. I must remember to always stay humbled. How has your pride in yourself, kept you from drawing closer to Jesus? A. Well pride in self draws me closer to self not Jesus. When that happens I constantly have eyes on me not on the Lord. I must examine myself and be honest with self and JESUS. Have been in wilderness for sometime a lot of transparency of coming to understanding who I am in Christ with the Lord and self, being honest with the Lord is good he knows it anyway. So coming to a place of trusting him to share my heart open to him is good I believe he really likes us to open our hearts to him and share with him. Am I there yet? Nope not yet but step by step day by day.
  3. Q. Why do you think God send ananias to Paul rather than revealing directly? A. To bless ananias and Paul I believe. Ananias is a willing vessel, who's not afraid to go when God calls to go remember Paul was a bit not so good guy before conversion, but the Lord had a plan for Paul's life to bless him even though he did what he did. Christians were afraid of him. Perhaps also a testimony of what God can do and does do. Brings him honor and glory. Q. Why does Ananias argue with God? A. Willing to go but doubting along the way. Fear. Q. Why does it take courage to obey? A. The Lord ask us to step out in faith small steps and big steps of faith, when stepping in unknown can be scary, but if we are trusting God it'll be OK. Q. What does ananias do and say? A. The Lord ask ananias to go to saul. Ananias lays hands on saul that he might receive his sight, but argues with the Lord about going because of what saul had done. Also prays for saul to receive the Holy Ghost. Q. Have you ever had God guide you to talk with someone and minister to him or her? A. Yes Q. Have you followed through? A. Not always. When I should have said something I didn't or afraid to go to person cause I have a word for them but because of fear.
  4. It hurts Jesus a lot, grieves his Holy Spirit. When we say things that hurt one another it hurts him, greater is he that is in me then he who is in the world. He feels your/ mine pain. Union with JESUS with one another in the body. The Holy Spirit encourages me I believe he uses this as a prod, but also disciplining me though hard also is a prod. The fires he takes us through he prods me along but is so gentle and kind. When I kick against the goads I think both but it hurts Papa way more then me, so hope no kicking.
