His faith is so astounding because under the circumstances, a lot of people would have been angry like the other prisioner and wondering why Jesus isn't helpng them or himself. That thief recieved everlasting life. I think Jesus was given strength and hope.

We are responsible for killing Jesus. If we knew better than to sin and live by the flesh, He would not had to get on the cross and save us. I have sinned plenty and I have played my part in this. I am do glad Jesus loved me enough to take away the sins of me and my abusers. Jesus was praing for us in a sense of saving and rescuing us from death.
