  1. Those whose names are written in the book of life are those who belong to God, those who have attained eternal life. My name was written in the Lamb's Book of Life at the creation of the world. I caught up with God's established purpose for my life in the Spring of 1988. Praise God's Holy Name! Because my name is written in His Book: "Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with great joy..." Jude 24 Rejoice that your names are written in heaven. Luke 10:20
  2. How does the blood of the Lamb enable us to conquer Satan? Satan was conquered at the cross. His blood shed for me has freed me from bondage to Satan. I'm not under his rule anymore. I can follow Jesus and obey Him. God's Word is my conquering sword. "Submit yourself therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7 Jesus is my protector and my strength to resist the enemy. How does the word of our testimony show victory over Satan? When I share Christ with others, I share my testimony of losing two sons and how God got me through those hard times. Jesus gets all the glory. I have hope of seeing my sons again. Why is it necessary to take up my cross daily in order to conquer? Denying my will, accepting God's will, and following Jesus is an everyday, moment by moment choice. This is the Scripture God gave to me when our youngest son Robert (16) was killed in a motorcycle accident in 1988. "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me." Luke 9:23. I had to make the choice to trust Jesus with my son's death and follow Him. I didn't get any answers as to why He allowed it to happen. I just had to trust Jesus' heart and follow Him. It's been almost 32 years now and Jesus has enabled me to continue FOLLOWING HIM AND SERVING HIM. I'd call that conquering faith!
  3. How does Jesus value my worth? I am of investible value to Jesus because of the price He paid to make me worthy. It is worth given to Me by God. He valued me, not because there was something in me that made me valuable, but because He placed value on me and sent His Son to die for me to show how much He valued me. Praise His Name! He is worthy to receive power, honor, and glory! Just like that old violin at an auction that had a few strings and was dirty. The auctioneer couldn't get a one dollar bid. But once the master violinist got up and played the violin, the instrument became worthy and sold for millions. Listen to the Revelation song to worship Jesus.
  4. Considering the standing Lamb that was slain, how do the Wounds you have experienced become your strengths? As I SAT before the Lord in silence this morning, fully anticipating He would speak to me, He said to me "Give me your pain." Jesus standing tells me He's very interested in my pain I'm going through. He sees me, feels my pain, and is standing with me to encourage and strengthen me to persevere. Some wounds I've experienced Is the death of my 16-year old son in an accident in 1988, the death of my 46-year old son With heart cancer in 2016, and the failing health of my husband after cancer ravaged his body 2016-present, and the separation of my children and grandchildren from our lives as a result of all this pain. I Gave Him all my pain this morning, one by one, as I cried my heart out to Him. I sensed His presence anew, and His heartfelt Grace and mercy as He imparted to me promises to dry my tears and give me new hope and strength again. Worthy is the Lamb! Praise, honor, and glory to Him forever!
