When we focus too much on the trials and issues in life, we often get pulled away from God. Sometimes in my situations, I focus more on the stress of that issue and finding the solutions and fix it on my own. But when I remember who I am in Christ, I step back and give it to God and draw nearer to him in prayer and reading his word—surrendering all to him. He said in his word to cast all our cares upon him because he cares for us. I thank him for his peace in every area of the situation.
