  1. Q.45. EATING FLESH OF JESUS We eat bread to feed our bodies , Jesus compares to Himself as the bread that feed s our flesh , and Him being the bread of life when we partake of His flesh we are feeding ourselves with the word of God which Jesus is the wors And when we drink of His blood also symbolizes the blood of Jesus that cleanse us from all unrighteousness Nibbling the bread is feeding on word of God through bits and pieces ( reading particular verse not whole chapter And making meal of it it spending time on His word reading it ,meditating on it until it saturates our minds such that we live by it eating the flesh of Jesus and drinking of His blood requires total surrender to Jesus and His teaching , giving your life completely to Him which is nit an easy thing to many as it requires to die to what individual wants and you to Gosd with your whole being

Q.44 Jesus said if you abide in Me , and My word abide in you , you will ask everything and it shall be done We need to dwell in Him and let His word saturate us and we will not lack anything Mutual indwelling , allowing Christ to work in and within us Without Jesus in our lives we are nothing , we are incomplete without Him ,His word will not abide within us without Him There is no value of things done without Christ

Q.40 Children showed humility The disciples were arrogant When you humble yourself it easy to come with repented heart before God as opposed to arrogance Learning takes place easier when you humble as your spirit is open to receiving Obedience takes place when you humbling yourself and you are open to do what you are told to do Children are innocent , loving and have open hearts , and humble therefore Jesus wanted hence Jesus wanted His disciples to be like them

Q.39 The Pharisee knew and followed God's laws and the laws they put themselves , and that made them feel righteous in deeds His actual sin is that of pride and feeling superior to others Tax collectors prayer was that of a sinner who felt required God's mercy for his sins It's easier to promote ourselves before others for we want to be seen as good people on the outside , yet on the inside we are just like the rest Jesustold this parable to His disciple to teach them about humility , not to look down on others or sinners but realize that they also capable of repentance and turn back from their sins
  5. Q.37 It's about loosing my self , what I want or don't but take the decision to follow Christ and let go of who I'm It's dying to oneself everything about me and yield to what Christ want to do with my life

Q.38 Nothing is of high value than having relationship with Christ I will prove Jesus being first in my life , by making known to them the relationship I have with Christ and continously spreading the gospel to them letting them know what Christ in my life means and what He has done for my life

Q.35 Jesus is teaching His pldisciples to Him their first priority over above anything else in their lives They need to make haste while the sun still shine , be serious about making decision to follow Jesus while still can cause time will come where it will be difficult to follow Him He taught them about setting their priority of following them and not be moved by what is happening in and around them , but be focused in their decision to follow Him
  8. Q.32 Some people fall away so quickly because they don't have the heart for the word of God . When they hear the word they do not internalize it , meditate about and it quickly gets out of their minds God's word doesn't take centre stage in their lives , they are not serious about God's word

Q.31 A true sherpered because of his life for his own would do anything in his power for his flock to the point of sacrificing his life for the sake of his flocks well being Jesus showed love for His disciples by teaching them , being there for them even in their time of need, laying down his life for them so that , they too can learn to do like Him Jesus lay down His life for , in that while while we were still sinners He died for us , he died in our place so that we may be Alive in Him Jesus taught His disciples to have a servant attitude , being there for others and help in their need

Q.30 Knowing the sheperds voice is important for disciples so that they will be able to hear and distinguish his voice or call from other sheperds voice and do accordingly Acting independentl of the sheperd will cost the sheep to get lost along the way as the do not do what the sheperd require of them What causes the sheep to go astray is not recognizing the sheperds voice and choose to go their way

Q.28The parable teaches us not to despise small things as they have potential to grow bigger , as the case of mustard seed which was so tiny but produced big tree Discouragement will arise when when focusing on what they see presently and not looking at the future , on what will become We discouraged when we are not seeing growth Faith and patience are in important for disciple for we don't walk by what we see but we need to have faith in what we believe for and while we applying our faith patience is needed to see it come to pass
  12. Q.27 Satan is strong man Jesus is a stronger man All power given to Him to cast out demons AZ we have seen in the scripture how He had set captives free He had set me free from power of sin by dying on the cross for my sins

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5 :17 If a man is in Christ he is a new creation all past gone , like natural birth you come to new environment you've never been into same as rebirth , you born into Christ The analogy of natural birth is that you are born by natural parents. And spiritual birth is by the Holy Spirit Yes we are , as born again believer you are led by the Holy Spirit within you

Q.18 Parable teaches us that God is generous in His doing and does not work in fairness or whether you deserve About grace - His face is unearned and undeserving Anger can rise up when we feel overlooked This is more of a pride issue in that we more concerned about ourselves and what we will get rather that knowing that God's grace is all we need which we are not required to do anything to receive

Ephesians 2:8 Says by grace we are saved ,not by works Jesus identify Himself with the least , because he cares for the people who are needy and defends their course To teach disciples about love and compassion for the least and that they will be judged by how they show this to people They need to learn to love all people the way Christ did Missions need to take care and show love and compassion towards needy people

Q.15 Richman's sin is that of nit recognizing poor man at his gate and providig of his need for food His sin is being loveless , unkind to the poor who need his assistance as he is able to provide Richman attitude towards Lazarus is of self centeredness as his asking that Abraham sends Lazarus for his own gain The main point of parable is that we need to recognize poor people among us who need our help when we have means to help Organization that aid poor people by providing food parcels and clothes

Q.14 The humor about this parable is that of seeing a sin in someone else , yet you struggling of your own Clearspiritual eye is when you are able to realize that we are all human being who are not perfect , and who will be subjected sin on day and will need someone will look to us with spiritual eyes not being judgemental Correction with gentleness will lead to true repentance when you realize your shortcomings rather than being judged which can lead to condemnation Judgemtalism has to do with hypocrisy in that the person who judge has his own big sins unknown to people , yet he sees someone else's sins

Incase of narrow gate Bible says few will find it because to some searching is nice and rather focus on what is seen Only a few will find it Not everyone will find it because the focus is on what can be seen , yet the narrow gate which is not seen is the one the will lead to life This parable teaches disciples that things of God are searched and if you are ignorant you will miss the mark if your focus is on what easily seen or obtained

Doing this affirms your faith in Him such that even if you encounter situations along the way you will not be shaken You build someone into true discipleship by spending time nurturing their spiritual growth until is able to stand on their own in their Christian faith

Meaning in our hearts there is jealousy, pride, hatred and all other bad things and that defile a man We look good on the outside because we want to portray outside beauty which is seen by people making us good people , yet the inside we are the opposite ( Beauty and modesty) We need cleansing inwardly by washing with the blood of Christ , which only one that cleanses us from our unrighteousness

The excuse makers represent people who refuse the invitation to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and make excuses as to why they cannot The potential results of excusing ourselves to do the will of God is that we will not tap in His fullness in our lives where God is in full control of who we are and what we do
