  1. According to Luke: 7 v/s 36-37, the woman came to Jesus just as he sat for dinner. So probably she was saved before Jesus had His dinner. Our love for Jesus should be very effusive. I sometimes fail to show such love for Jesus in public. But every time I am reminded of what Jesus said: if you acknowledge me in front of others, I will also acknowledge you in front of my Father in heaven.
  2. Our God is one who constantly seeks us, looks for us. It teaches us about Gods character of love in pursuing the Fathers' will. Te pharisees were learned men who followed the books of law to the word - but literally! Most of their arguments were based on "out of context" situations. These parables of Jesus are a stark contrast to the pharisees way of thinking. Jesus shattered their myths with these parables. As disciples of Jesus, we should look out for the lost sheep in our own neighborhoods. We usually tend to have fellowship with people within the community who are already saved as this gives us a feeling of being in the company of saved people. But as His disciples we should evangelise with and share the gospel with the "lost sheep".
  3. The Lord is pruning me with the trials. I am learning that He is in control of everything. I just need to submit myself to Him in all situations. He will strengthen me. I have had various trials in my life and everytime the Lord has taught me to trust Him. The Satan is very active but my Lord is bigger than the Satan
