Want to share: Something else to consider from God's Word related to the subject of light... 2 Corinthians 4:4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 1 John 2:11 But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.

God has a heart of compassion. The same compassion that God had for me, and acted on it, is to be extended to those who need it too. Use His example. Give what has been received. We, ourselves were once lost. Don't know where to go or no one to turn to... turn around to God, Almighty, who loves you. If one seeks Him with their whole heart, He will be found because He is not far from each one of ua.

I would like to share this message (from gotquestions.org website) that is an answer to the question about what Christian workers will receive at the end of the age when there will be the resurrection and the reign of Jesus on earth for a thousand years.... After the Tribulation and the Battle of Armageddon, Jesus will establish His 1,000-year Kingdom on earth. In Jeremiah 30, God promises Israel that the yoke of foreign oppression would be cast off forever, and “instead, they will serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them” (verse 9). Speaking of the same time, God says through the prophet Ezekiel, “My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd. They will follow my laws and be careful to keep my decrees” (Ezekiel 37:24). From the prophecies of Jeremiah and Ezekiel, some have concluded that King David will be resurrected during the Millennium and installed as co-regent over Israel, ruling the Kingdom with Jesus Christ. Jeremiah’s and Ezekiel’s prophecies should be understood this way: the Jews would one day return to their own country, their yoke of slavery would be removed, their fellowship with God would be restored, and God would provide them with a King of His own choosing. This King would, in some way, be like King David of old. These passages can refer to none other than the long-awaited Messiah, the “Servant of the Lord” (cf. Isaiah 42:1). The Jews sometimes referred to the Messiah as “David” because it was known the Messiah would come from David’s lineage. The New Testament often refers to Jesus as the “Son of David” (Matthew 15:22; Mark 10:47). There are other reasons, besides being the Son of David, that the Messiah is referred to as “David.” King David in the Old Testament was a man after God’s own heart (Acts 13:22), he was an unlikely king of God’s own choosing, and the Spirit of God was upon Him (1 Samuel 16:12–13). David, then, is a type of Christ (a type is a person who foreshadows someone else). Another example of this kind of typology is Elijah, whose ministry foreshadowed that of John the Baptist to the extent that Malachi called John “Elijah” (Malachi 4:5; cf. Luke 1:17; Mark 9:11–13). David will be resurrected at the beginning of the Millennium, along with all the other Old Testament saints. And David will be one of those who reign with Jesus in the Kingdom (Daniel 7:27). However, all believers will rule the nations (Revelation 2:26–27; 20:4) and judge the world (1 Corinthians 6:2). The apostle Peter calls Christians “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation” (1 Peter 2:9). In Revelation 3:21, Jesus says about the believer who conquers, “I will grant him to sit with me on my throne.” In some sense, then, Christians will share authority with Christ (cf. Ephesians 2:6). There is some biblical evidence, as in the Parable of the Ten Minas (Luke 19:11–27), that individuals will be given more or less authority in the Kingdom according to how they handle the responsibilities God has given them in this age (Luke 19:17). Jesus is the King of kings (Revelation 19:16). Humanly speaking, Jesus is from the Davidic dynasty; but in power, in glory, in righteousness, and in every other way, He is rightly called the Greater David. “The government will be on his shoulders” (Isaiah 9:6). The Old and New Testaments reveal that the future King during the Millennium and all eternity is Jesus Christ and Him alone (Jeremiah 23:5; Isaiah 9:7; 33:22; Revelation 17:14; 1 Timothy 6:15). PRAISE GOD!

Food: God's Word and Truth. Jesus said: I am the way, the truth and the life. Feed on God's Word and be nourished, strengthened to do His work. Follow His ways, His will. Hungering souls need real food for Life Eternal. Sin is not real food and leads only to death.

The shift?...Die to self. That is the key to decreasing self and increasing Jesus Christ. Be Christ-centered in thoughts and actions NOT self-centered which is powerless to create a successful Christian life. Follow and perform HIs will not your own. It glorifies God!

It seems to me that it may be an issue of defining what is it to be filled and refilled. Filled is to have all of the Holy Spirit. I get that. To be refiled with Him seems to suggest that He has been depleted, diminished, emptied and needs time to be replenished. I don't think that is true of the Holy Spirit. He does not lose any amount of power to work within us and through us. He may want to overflow us with Himself but not leave us with less of Him which is impossible. This is the best I could do in putting it into words. It is one way to look at the issue.

Col.1:5 ...heard about in the word of truth, the gospel... Jesus, being the Word of God in the flesh, said...I am the way, THE TRUTH, and the life...(John 14:6) He is full of truth. (john 1:14) For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

Both. Jesus asked the Father to send the Holy Spirit. They are unified as The Trinity. They always work together, each having their own roles. There are no others.

By (Angel) Gabriel's announcement and The Holy Spirit overshadowing Mary. The choosing of Mary, a human virgin, not through procreation, to be The Mother and God to be The Father. Through Mary, The Son would be human in every way but, through The Holy Spirit He would be sinless with His divine nature intact. The Holy Spirit came upon me when I realized I needed to repent from living my way and desiring to live God's way. I believed in God but did not know Him until then. Changes followed.

In Jesus' humanity, He needed the Holy Spirit's empowerment to do the Father's work/will. Later, after His baptism, He was empowered by the Holy Spirit to obey the Father's commands which included miracles. This occurred so that we, humans. would also learn and depend on the power of the Holy Spirit to live out our lives God's way. Apart from the Holy Spirit's empowerment none of us can do God's work and glory Him. Otherwise, the work of our flesh, sinful nature, would lead to death and nothing more. Miracles can happen through us but not come from us. We do not have the power in our humanity to cause/perform Miracles.

Jesus became and was, in HIs humanity, dependent on The Father. He willingly set aside His own power to demonstrate His dependence on God to empower Him to do things The Father's way. To obey His commands. Be a role model. Follow in HIs footsteps.

Holy Spiirt coming "upon"..."on"...Mary...is a "physical" connection. Whoever comes through Him is Holy. His power will overshadow Mary...cover...protect...hide this encounter. As believers we also are made Holy. The Holy One produces Holiness. He who lives within us. Now that is up close and personal.

#1 - Promise: Will pour out the Holy Spirit on all humanity. #2 - sons and daughters - old and young men - male and female servants - everyone who calls on the name of the Lord. - House of Israel - will give them a new heart and a new spirit within them - will put God's Spirit within them. - will remove their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh - will cause them to walk in His statues and will cause them to be careful to obey His rules.

#1 - Promises: - Holy Spirit will anoint (reveal) The One who is the Messiah... - who will bear fruit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, power, knowledge, and fear of the Lord. - who will bring justice to the nations - who will bring good news: - will bind up the brokenhearted - will proclaim liberty to those who are captives - will open the prison to those who are bound - will proclaim the year of God's favor - will proclaim the day of God's vengeance - will come to comfort #2 - ...through Jesus, The Christ

#1 - The Holy Spirit's empowerment #2 - Prophesy #3 - So that they would have what he (Moses) has: a relationship with God.

#1 - Holy Spirit:'s primary purpose: to empower/enable individuals chosen to carry out God's commands #2 - Holy Spirit's effect: dependence on God, the Father...His presence.
