Joseph's sons are just as adept ar deception as their father, quite possibly more so. Their hearts have been bitter and cold for years. They did not suddenly arrive at this decision to eliminate Joseph. They have nursed their resentment, nurtured it over the years. And now, they harvest the fruit of murder in their hearts. Theses sons have known and prospered in the ways of God, and yet their hearts are far from Him.
