Q4. (1:13-14) These verses contain two analogies: (1) seal and (2) downpayment, with the balance to be paid in a lump sum at the end of the term. When does the "end of the term" occur? How do these analogies help explain how the Holy Spirit functions in our lives? The end of the term is at the end of my earthly life. The holy spirit is the one who helps us imitate heaven on earth it is through the holy spirit that we enjoy heaven on earth for He directs us to what God considers good and his work in us makes us fill super human for this life cannot be experienced in those without the spirit.The life of remaining calm amidist trouble , knowing what one thinks before they tell you and so on.

Q3. (Ephesians 1:11-12) According to verses 11 and 12, what is God's purpose for our lives? What do we need to do to fulfill this purpose? How does this purpose relate to Matthew 5:13-16? God's purpose for lives is to praise his glory and that who ever sees us sees His glory. we need to totally surrender to him our lives in listening and doing His will. It also reffers to us as light and salt in this it's others to benefit from the brightness of your life and the taste in you being the salt.This taste and brightness we get them from Him the light of the world.

Q2. (Ephesians 1:9-10) What is the significance that all things will be brought under one head -- Christ himself? How does this relate to the Creator? What does it say about unity? Extra Credit: How does this verse relate to 1 Corinthians 15:24-28? THe significance of this is that God gave His only son to the world to redeem us and so what was predestined to happen to will be fulfilled through Christ. All this was predestined by the creator. We all predestined to be united in Christ as the head , all the earth , believers and none believers. In Corinthians it also states that Christ Will take over the whole earth as the leader above and finally will hand over this to the creator who gave Him the authority to conquer the earth.

Q1. (Ephesians 1:7) In what sense have you been "redeemed" from slavery? What do you think your life up to now would have been like if you hadn't been redeemed? What would your future be like without redemption, do you think? If I wasn't redeemed I was deeply sinking into the over ruling grave sin amongst the seven deadly sins and that's pride. My life would not be full of fear , loneliness , anger , it would be in complete darkness and approaching death. I would be dead without redemption.

Q4. (Ephesians 1:5-6) Why is adoption a particularly apt illustration of God's relationship with us? Adoption raises us from the lowest class to the highest class. A complete change of who we are and the privileges of our lives. Why is the concept of adoption encouraging to us?This gives us living hope of a life out of slavery and tasting of a life full of every good thing.

(Ephesians 1:5-6) Why is adoption a particularly apt illustration of God's relationship with us?This is done to show us that were are related to him and the connection we have with him earns us equal rights to birth rights.Adoption in that way builds a strong relationship between us and God. Why is the concept of adoption encouraging to us?Because we automatically share God's promises He made to His children.

Q3. (Ephesians 1:4) What does it mean to be "holy"? In what can you stand "blameless" before God?Holy; according to what I have understood it's not more than being concecrated to God i.e doing small requests to me from God each day , each hour , each minute , each second.like praying , doing acts of mercy , trusting him and much more things as He requests from us. blameless refers to the state of not having any issue to be condemed of .

Q4. (Acts 13:43b) Why is "continuing" or "abiding" in the faith so important? What does Jesus' Parable of the Sower teach about "continuing" (Matthew 13:5-6, 20-21)? Why do new believers need basic instruction and discipling before the task of evangelism is complete? (Acts 14:21b-22) Because the most essential card to the new life in Jesus Christ is faith. For one with no faith can never achieve eternity,how can you achieve what you don't believe for Christ is the way to eternity.By remaining in faith nothing can ever slip you off from Christ. The seeds that grew up to the point of fruiting were in fertile soil but also those that never made it to that point had the capabiy of growing if at all helped and support in different ways like those that fell in the thorns .So following up new converts helps in taking away the thorns that would kill the planted seed from producing fruits. This helps them to get to know in details how to handle different issues in life but according to the rules and regulations of the new life in Jesus and also gives one space to do away with their old ways.

Q3. How do Paul's gospel presentations to pagans in Lystra (Acts 14:16-17;) and Athens (Acts 17:16-34) differ from his typical message in the synagogues? What common ground does Paul build on with pagan audiences? How will you need to contextualize the gospel in your particular area to build on common ground? In lystra Paul talks about God who never minded about what people did and continued blessings people with food ,rain and joy in their hearts in Athens He complements them being religious and while he was moving he found a place which was given to the unknown God and so he is going to explain to them that God they don't know. Paul builds on what is clearly known by the pegans or what they can see with their eyes. I will have to look around on what is in the area ,at the kinds of people in the area and what is spoken about the area

(Acts 13:1-3) Why are the church leaders in Antioch seeking God through corporate prayer and fasting?It is through prayer that we can connect with God and with fasting it helps in laying down our personal weaknesses and come nearer to God.with the two added up thisy yields good fruits as per hearing and following the voice of God. How does God respond to their seeking?By selecting among them those He wants to go on a special mission that's Paul and Barnabus. Why do you think we don't do more of this sort of thing today? praying and fasting are divine acts which are opposed in very many ways like having little love with Jesus for when love someone you do all they say blindly or not "there are some situations without prayer and fasting they cannot be moved " Said Jesus.Not that without fasting you cannot listen to the holy spirit but considering what we listen ,see and hear it's worthy for us to pray and fast. What was the importance of this to the church at large? By doing so the church was rest assured not to be misled in the decisions they were to follow since these came directly from the holy spirit. To the chosen missionaries?This is important to prevent the missionary from becoming a tourist that's the worst a missionary can become once they are not led by the spirit since they're moving different places meeting different people with different spirits ruling in them so to remain in the spirit you have to keep pure and one the ways is by fasting and prayer.

Why do ambitious Christians struggle so much when they don't seem to be doing anything important? first the holy spirit doesn't need us to become someone else in order to work in us we should remain who we are.you can not have an ambition out of the blue but it should have come from someone.This simply means that the struggle they are in is based on human knowledge rather than wisdom.If all that was based on wisdom it would be a struggle in decigise since the holy spirit always knows which way to go.These christians put their minds on what has to be done outside of them than inside of them,they don't focus on the teacher but rather on the work they think they have to do.They chose what to do by them selves. Why is patience with God's plan so important to growth?As I wait patiently it's in this period that am remolded to be the best tool for the plan a head of me hence spiritual growth. Why is a period of spiritual formation so important to future leadership? To listening for God's voice? with in this period one is being rebuilt both spiritually and in their thinking,so when it comes to leader ship one with all the above makes a good leader.spiritual formation is important to listening to the voice of God cause one is aware of the greatness and hirerachy of God.So it's easy to concentrate and listen to His voice.

Abraham came into right relations with God after believing in the promise He made to him of giving him a son. By believing in the words God speaks to us through the bible. Trusting Christ involves total surrender to the holy spirit for we are nolonger guided by the law but by the spirit.

Legalism and spiritual pride prevents us from trusting in Christ by faith in search a way that it colours out a picture that one's purification is based on one's hard work so you start trusting your own away from God and hence loosing faith in Jesus so there is no reason why one seeks knowing Jesus since they are full of themselves. Pride in my self has kept me from drawing closer to Jesus in search away that all the years I have spent in this situation of pride I have been working harder to make ends meet acompaned with stress,fear, loneliness and disappointment and I failed to do the most simple act of looking on to Jesus (having faith in him and completely trusting in him).

Legalism and resulting spiritual pride prevents us from trusting in Christ by faith in search a way that With legalism ones heart ❤️ is focused on perfecting each and every detail of the law hence drawing a picture that one's perfection is as a result of one's hard work and for pride limits the things God can do in our life for a proud heart trusts in ts self alone.where a man's heart ❤️ is that's where there faith is. Pride has kept me from drawing closer to Jesus In search a way that I couldn't listen to the voice of God and follow His instructions and I couldn't even consetrate in quiet time.

The lord sends Ananias to Saul rather than revealing because the lord prepares the missions we are to fulfill in our lives before we are born,so no matter how lawly Ananias was the lord had prepared him for this and it had to be fulfilled. Ananias urgues with God for he was filled with fear considering the ruthless acts he heard Saul had done to believers of Christ in Jerusalem. Obeying takes courage because it involves acting blindly without knowing the outcomes and also with no questions at all. Ananias goes to Saul salutes him ,introduces himself and what he has come to do ,he places his hands on him and he gets healed then baptises him and he gets filled with the holy spirit. I have never had God guide me to talk with someone and minister to him or her.

Jesus so to Saul cause He is in connection with His people in such a way that what ever happens to them happens to Him too.This He confirmed when He said Iam the head and we are the parts of the body. When you hit the goad ts you that it hearts Yeah av hit the goad quite a number of times and just like Saul the lord talked to me and restored my view and senses.

Persecuting Christ's people constitutes persecuting Christ himself simply because Christ and his people are one body.Just like He tells us iam the head and we are the parts of His body. Oh yeah not once not twice including loosing my job for Avery long time and just like saint Paul the lord talked to me and said "oh how I like a heart with no pride I hate pride and very little can be done ."
