God is our provider. He does not always provide for us in a way we would expect, but he sustains us. Ravens are actually very intelligent birds, remembering faces and bringing gifts to those that are good to them, living long lives. God uses an unexpected way to help Elijah out of a difficult situation. We need to be alert for these opportunities in our lives and be grateful for them.

ETIHW It is never easy to stand up for what you believe when society and those in power are against you. Elijah had the strength of his convictions and the knowledge that he was not alone. God was with him.
