It may seem repulsive to many because it is something innocent being sacrificed...Many don't understand how sinful we are and it would seem cruel if you don't understand that...But to be spared from death an innocent life had to be sacrificed...We had to be shown in order to fully understand the ultimate sacrifice to follow............Thanks to all of you for your insight ....I am learning so much...May God bless us all thru this study...

Anger is an approriate response to sin because sin is all that is AGAINST God. Amazingly and thankfully God forgives us everytime we step out in sin. Proverbs 29:11...We are cautioned to keep our anger under control. We SHOULD be angry at the sin that surrounds us but not act upon it in haste but with correct judgement.
