Hi, My name is Al & I'm a Grandfather living in Central Florida. This is my second Bible Study with Joyful Heart & I look forward to learning more of God's Word!

I have been reminded again that we are but one small part, (or as the Bible says, organ) of the body & it's only as we permit the Lord to fit us together & use us as a whole unit, (body) to work for Him that His will is accomplished & His work is done. I especially liked the way one of the students expressed it: "The strength of the Lord is magnified in the UNITY of His people working together! That strength will never be within an individual--it takes the BODY and its many members working together!" I greatly enjoyed the time spent studying these passages in Ephesians with you Pastor Ralph & the other students on the forum & look forward to doing so another time, soon. Again, thanks, & we'll continue to pray the Lord will bless you as you lead other Bible Studies & us as we apply what we have learned to win others to Christ & to deciple them.

"From the standpoint of power, what is the significance of Paul's statement that "God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus...."? I must admit that I've read this scripture for many years and never really comprehended that I, (and every Christian today), had this same power that Jesus talked about when He told his disciples that they would do "Greater works than these", that we have the same power and authority that Christ has - living in us that have accepted Him as our Lord & Savior & are seeking to do His Will each day - Not until Pastor Wilson pointed out Eph. 2:6 so clearly, did I realize the emmence power available to us in Christ Jesus!!!

Hi, I believe that the significance of Paul saying that Christ is seated at God's right hand in the heavenly realms is to show that He is seated in His 'rightful' place as the Son of God who . . ."hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: . . ." Ph. 2:9-11. Therefore, He is the head over all things to the church and all things are under His feet!

Hi, sorry to get started so late - other commitments! I believe that Paul is saying that the Ephesians spiritual eyes are closed due to a lack of faith & need to be opened to the "IMMEASURABLE" power that God has for US, His Children, (the church). And Paul uses the glorious resurrection of Jesus as his example of this level of power. 'HALLELUJAH!!! "He IS Risen" --------------------
