  1. Why....Only as a human could Jesus die and break the power of the Devil, to be like us and be our High Priest before God. How does.. Jesus knows what it is like when we suffer and are tempted and he is wonderfully able to help us. Since he is the Perfect leader.
  2. The only way was to die and break the power of the Devil who had the power of Death. In what sense...by Jesus Crucifixion. Final completion...By always trusting in God , heed the warnings, Biblical and Worldwide. What is the result in our lives...When we think about the pain and suffering and humiliation Jesus went through to save us by dying on the cross -His Crucifixion- We all want to be worthy of his sacrifice, because as christians we want to be called to Heaven and see God's Glory and go up with Jesus in the clouds at his second coming..
  3. Jesus the perfect Leader for Salvation and bring the sons and daughters, and multitudes to God and be in Heaven with Jesus in his Glory now, Jesus asked God to look after the sons and daughters on earth until he went to heaven and they would be there with Jesus. What does it mean...In what sense... He proved Himself Perfect and was chosen to be a High Priest with the same rank as Melchizedek. What implications for our own lives... To have Biblical understandng, keep on the right road, study and be alert always and be aware also of biblical prophecy. And pray always, for understanding.
  4. In what way -...By the Grace of God and because of God's kindness Jess suffered death for everyone. Why is this so dependent ...By tasting death for everyone - Christ was made in God's image but born of flesh and blood, being the 2nd Adam, and as fully human a great sacrifice for God, his only Son, to die on the cross to save our Souls. We will never forget that. The implications are ...- He is our Saviour on high, crowned by God Glory and honour, knowing by grace we are saved.Jesus suffered - died outside the city where his blood washed our sins away and his Death was not under the system of Jewish laws, so he tasted death for all.
  5. Jesus was flogged with a leaded whip and handed over to be crucified- he was beaten with a cane and spat on. He was humiliated and a crown of sharp thorns put on his head. Then led away to be crucified. What I have just read I felt humiliated as if it was myself having that done to me, and to be there would have been bad enough. As christians we are likely to suffer humiliation, torment, and go through trials and tribulations but it will be for our own good and make us strong and able to cope with the future, that is what I am hoping to be able to do. If we try to avoid suffering and pain and not face reality - we need to change our thinking and become christians, since we would not be strong enough to cope with the reality in the Last Days.
  6. We cannot afford to be indifferent to Jesus' teachings, what has been passed on to us by the bible, with signs and wonders and miracles, also the gifts of the holy spirit given to those who believe - how wonderful, it is, to have a triune God, Father, Son and Holy spirit. You wouldn't want anything else but salvation to be able to see God's face, and a new Heaven, and earth, we keep partaking of communion until the day he comes, remembering of his sacrifice for us. To be on guard and not stray in these current times.
  7. Because we listen carefully to the truhs we have heard, and learned, we won't drift away from them like the seed that won't grow on hard rock, sand, groove in rocks, but because the ground is fertile like us as humans we accept teaching and the seeds grow.
  8. In verses 2 and 3 Jesus is Divine and he died to cleanse us and to clear our record of sin and he has the highest honor - to sit beside God his father (If Jesus hadn't died for me where would I have been today)
  9. I feel that the author of Hebrews is using the word "Son" as a biological relationship. They are both one, but Jesus was made human to save us.
