  1. Jesus life here on earth was total surrender to His Father. He did nothing apart from himself. He honored His Father by total obedience even to death. We are incapable of such obedience, but Jesus shows us how to honor, respect and obey. Only through these great attributes He has shown us, can we live a life of honoring and glorifying Him. EASTER....ALELUYA.
  2. Yes, it is finished but look what just happened!!! Mark 15:37-39 With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last. The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. And when the centurion who stood there in front of Jesus heard his cry and saw how he died, he said, "Surely this man was the Son of God." The most amazing event...the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The curtain that separated the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place (Ex. 26:31-35)being torn, indicated that Christ had entered heaven itself for us to that we too may now enter God's presence. This is part of the great mystery. We are no longer separated from our Heavenly Father. We can come boldly before the throne room of our heavenly Father. Look further at Hebrews 9:11-28 He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. vs. 15 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance" -now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant. We are set free! A great earthquake, rocks split, tombs broke open, people were raised to life and appeared to many people. This was an extremely dramatic day for the believer as well as those who continued to doubt. Rejoice He is coming back again.
  3. "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water." John 4:10 If we remember Jesus words to the woman at the well, we can put this in perspective. His sacrifice for us gives us Living Water. What an amazing gift to us. The Samaritan woman recognized Him as a prophet. What do we recognize Jesus as? Our Savior? Our Redeemer? Our rescuer from this world of great sin? I am forever thankful for His sacrifice for me, forever grateful for eternal life! This is such a miracle!
  4. Jesus human response at it's max. We too can cry out to God the Father asking Him, "Where are You Lord?" It also shows us what it might be like to experience total separation from God. I ask myself, "what am I called to sacrifice today for His amazing love for me? Can I help those who are in need? Can I call on the sick? Can I reach out to someone who is desperately lost and in depression? What can I do today Lord?
