Q1. (Colossians 1:5-6) Paul glorifies the gospel, the good news. What words does he use to describe the action of the gospel in verses 5 and 6? Given the temptation the recipients have to adopt another religious philosophy, why do you think he reminds them of the world scope of the gospel -
The Most High God means a lot to me as a believer, He is the God of all flesh, the possessor of heaven and earth, my ALL in ALL, the unchangeable CHANGER, my Everything, it is wonderful feeling knowing that my God, the Most High God is my Father, my daddy. This alone gives me all the reason to worship Him and adore Him with all my heart which I delight in doing. Daily as I look to Him it gives me sweet joy to worship Him just by calling His name. It gives me a sense of belonging.

Both Abraham and Melchizedek believed that there is no other God than El Elyon, who is the creator of heaven and earth. He is able to deliver, rescue and bless beyond measure. They both knew Him as the totally Supreme God.
