What is the significance of the exalted Jesus walking among the lampstands? (1:12-20) What does this teach us about the church? What does it teach us about Jesus? As it has been stated the seven lampstands or candelsticks represent the seven churches. The significance of Jesus walking in their midst represents His continuous intercession for His church which is those of us who have taken part in His shed blood. By Him being in our midst should show us that if we keep the faith and uphold the church according to His Word then there is nothing for us to fear. Today He is everpresent making intercession for us through His Holy Spirit who makes our petitions know to the Father. JESUS IS LORD
