John 20:29 Jesus encourages those who believe in Him without ever having seen Him. We believe other historic figures were alive because there were people who saw them and wrote about them. Same thing for Jesus. He was with certain groups of people and His stories have been told over and over again throughout generations. I believe the Bible and I know without a doubt that Jesus is who He says He is. Jesus would not just ask for me to believe in Him by those words. He wanted to be in my heart as well, so I allowed Him in. If I weren't absolutely certain before I let Him in, I was absolutely certain after Jesus came to live in my heart. Because Jesus is VERY REAL, I see things in my life differently, I handle pain and suffering differently, I am more compassionate to others, I can "see" things more clearly for myself and others. I discern things because Jesus wisdom helps me. How can I have the wisdom of Jesus? Read His word, Pray, Listen for His voice, Keep a clear conscience, do unto others........

I am a teacher and I learned my teaching skills from Jesus Parables.......I think that is why I am a successful teacher...... Jesus always tells us things in a manner interesting and easy to understand based on our human nature. He doesn't speak in terms we don't understand. He knows what interests us and He tells us things in ways we enjoy learning from. He also teaches by making sure the stories are compelling. He wants us to really think about how this can be put into action in our lives immediately. His stories were the kind that you hear one minute and put into action the very next minute. This is simple......If we are not "rooted" in God's word and praying daily......we will fall by the wayside and not be able to grow or hear what He wants us to do.

Jesus is the EXACT representation of God. Jesus is the complete God in a human body. Therefore, God could walk among the people in his "Jesus" form and interact with them which we know is how we human sinners learn best. When Jesus spoke, many listened and understood. God, through Jesus Christ, has made things so easy for us to learn and grow. It amazes me when I hear people say, "How can I believe in something I can't see or touch?" Well, we are taught of many great public figures in history who did amazing things and we have never physicallly touched them, but we believe in what they say. Same thing with Jesus.......God put Jesus here so that we could KNOW that Jesus could be heard and touched. He is very real and tangible. I wish for everyone that they could FEEL Jesus and be TOUCHED by Jesus every day as I have been. He is real and He teaches us, takes care of us, just as He did when He was creating the universe. That is more believable to me than even some of the stories I hear about public figures in history.

I believe when we think of a "Son". We think of someone who we are very close to, that we have grown up around, that we have given good advice to and that we trust. If I had to choose someone to carryout a task of mine today that was very important to me, it would be my son. I think that a parent and a son are very close in the way they think, act, etc. Most people think of their child as an "extension" of themself. We become "one" with our child. Jesus became One with God. Of course, ours is not a perfect union because we are not without sin......However, God and Jesus have that perfect union. Many prophets told of the coming of Jesus in the Old Testament, yet it was still astonishing to everyone when they realized that God would speak through His son, Jesus. But we know without a doubt today that when we speak to Jesus that God will take care of us and that all of our insecurities and hurts are understood and taken care of.
