Jesus Christ intercedes on our behalf because of our sins. We should not take advantage of that fact, and continually sin, but it is comforting to know he loves us so completely! It should make us want to avoid sin at all costs, because we do not want to reap negativity from our actions.

When a Christian walks in darkness, he jeopardizes his relationship with God. The further you walk away, the harder it is to come back into His grace. Self-deception is prevalent because you are being true to yourself, not to God. You become a pretender, thinking that God does not see, or know your actions. It is much easier to do what is right because it is God's will. Life dictates this philosophy. If you steal, you go to jail. If you work hard, and pray and believe, you are successful. The light is the only way.

We are not in true fellowship with other Christians because we are too afraid to become transparent in our lives. It is sometimes too difficult to show our faults, and weaknesses to others. We want our outward appearance to show strength and tenacity at all times, even if we are suffering inside.
