  1. We as christians love because God first loved us. God loves us without any reservations. Legalism is a bunch of man made or human developed rules and regulations that are suppose to regulate our lives, and dealings with one an other. If we are serious about loving God we will not be so quick to pass judgment on our fellow man.
  2. John assures us that if we sin, if we are christian we have one who speaks to the father in our defense Jesus Christ, is on our side! The comfort comes in, in knowing that as human we are not perfect and will sin at some point, upon repentance we are forgiven. We are encouraged to be Christ like in our walk, and without sin, Jesus paid the ultimate price for us, with His life.
  3. Q3 Confession is an admission of ones guilt. The confession of our sins are so important because without confession we will accept sin as right or ok. Thos confession is so vital to our christian health to allow us to continue to grow and have a healthy relationship with Jesus Christ and our fellow man. If We stop confessing our sins, then our spiritual health becomes sick and we begin to walk in darkness again. The difference in forgiveness ofn sin and cleansing of sin in my opinion is fo forgive is to receive a full pardon and to be cleansed of sin is acomplished by the blood of Jesus Christ when we repent or our sins.
  4. When a christian walks in darkness knowingly, that person is at that time against God at that time,if that individual were to die during this time they would be separated from God for eternity. We must sincerely confess and repent of our sin to Jesus Christ , Jesus is our intercessor before God for us and has already payed the price for our sin with His live.
  5. In my opinion the reason we have surface level relationships, is because we are reluctant to listen to the voice of God, we are to vocal in our lives and not quiet enough to hear God's voice speaking to us and slow in our prayer time. We are also reluctant to put our entire trust in God. I feel that we could have a deeper fellowship in Christ by committing to a more, and better prayer life. I think in my own life I just need to give up more of my personal control and rely more on God, and my prayer life.
