  1. Animal sacrifice is repulsive because alot of us see it as fetish and not acceptable to God, and the sight of blood is enough to put anyone off, how much more God. After Christ came the idea of sacrifing animmals stopped. I belive not alot has to do with living in the city, even in rural areas people would really not use animals as sacrifice because people have come to know God, and those who still do this are defintely not Christians.
  2. Anger is an emotion which one displays when someone does the wrong thing, thats the only way we can show displeasure for sin. God does not like sin , so for us to know he does not like it, He gets angry about it and is always ready and willing to forgive us, when we realise our mistakes and turn to Him. However uncontrolled anger can lead to sin, when one is angry and cannot contol it a whole lot of damage could be done and wrongs that cannot be made right, while anger that brings about justice is one that gives room for correction, taking an example of a man who commits a crime, the society igets angry with him, he faces the law and probably goes to prison which is just for what he has done, and this serves as a corrective measure, this helps and stops him from going back to that sin.
  3. This is because in the old times before Christ, when the people of Isreal offend God, they were known to make sacrifices, which were meant to appease God. Another case is that of Abraham, who God asked to sacrifice his son but was later given a Lamb by God to make the sacrifice. Johns statement about the lamb of God refered to sacrifice because he had been preaching repentance and blotting of sins, since he refered to Jesus as the Lamb of God it means he would be a sacrifice to blott away mans sins. It was contorvesial because it is difficult to understand how and why one person could sacrifice his life to save others for their sins
