  1. 1. God said in Isaiah 1:18, "Come lets reason together....." I believe in understanding the purpose of God Moses was in interceeding for the children of Israel, did pray based on the will of God. This also represent the fulfillment of the nature of the coming and death of Jesus Christ to fulfill the salvation plan of God. As Christains we have a responsibility to interceed recognising the purpose of God. This is worthy of emulation. 2. Praying the promises of God is appropriating the promises to ones life based on our relationship with God. God is not a respecter of persons; he makes available to the everyone as long as they fulfil the requirements for drawing down on the promises. 3. Before you can pray its essential that you know the mind of God as reflected in the Bible. Faith is built up during prayer when its founded on the word of God. Its the same faith as based ont eh word of God that gives assurance of answered prayer. In the book of James 1:6-7, you cannot receive answer to your prayer the moment you doubt. 4. We need to daily study and understand the Bible to know the mind of God as the Holy Spirit ministers to us. It is by this that we can pray according to God's will.
  2. I believe that the people of Israel at the time did not realy acknoledge God, rather they saw a way out not minding who's leading them. This made it difficult to recognise and accept the authority of God. Prior to this time there was no record of worshipping this God. The raising of the calf was a proof. In anger, reasoning does not apply. God may be angry does not act wwithout reason. He is SOVERIGN. Humanly speaking one may reason that God is justified but in this case God is God. He is Sovreign.
  3. To hallow God requires our dealing with the issues of our life, and reset our character and values. Our utterances and actions both God ward and towards fellow human being. We need to let be focused and our motives be right towards God.
