  1. What the talents are, are the gifts that God has give us to advance the kingdom of God. It is mportant to use all the gifts to there fullest, and not to waste any of them. These could be many, in my case some of the gifts that God has given to me are the ability to make people laugh and feel a little better, the gift to just listen to others, and the ability to lead. When it comes to knowledge of the bible and what is written, I don't think I will ever have a full understanding of the message. Because, as I change wheather from growth or situations the meesage keeps changing; to full-fill the need at that time.Eveything I do is to further the kingdom, it is my hope that the Lord finds everything I do worthy of what he has given me.
  2. Jesus wants his disciples and us to know that the kingdom is always growing. With the pariable of the mustard seed one can understand that the small things we do today can grow and change. The pariable of the bread allow one to understand that that all things operate (if allowed,) with-in other parts. The part one plays today may not be understood for a long time if ever. Jesus wants us to know that the true gifts are not here, so do not get discouraged. Keep you head up and keep doing the important things and God will provide the things we need.
  3. The way we can be Holy in Gods sight is by being who God made you to and not what one thinks God wants them to be. We must remove our own egos and just present ourself as ourselves. Then one must remember that we have grace throu Christ our Lord
  4. I believe that Paul wants them to know they are not alone, that the gospel must be taught, Churches today can forget what their true purpose is, and if they allow the teachings of the Lord to be forgotten what happens to the teachings. Being a christian is a great thing, I have seen churchs that act like they have forgotten that, they show up only on Sundays for an hour and then they all run away from each other, Church should be about fellowship, support, and LOVE for each other.
  5. By Jesus raising from the dead it God love his son and he also loves all his children, with Jesus in heaven at the right hand of God we have our King to defend us. Also if you have doughts that God would save his only son, and you have no faith in Gods love why should he save your soul.
  6. If Jesus did not die on the cross the Christian movement as we know it would not have exsited, the peolpe of the time would have fallow Christ untill his death, but there would have been no prof that God approved of Christ, by raising one has no doubt that Jesus concord death and God approved of him.
  7. The grave clothes, of all the things that could be faked this is the one that can not be. The clothes were left undisturbed, I feel this this some thing that would have been over looked, they would not have been left the way they were, they would have been left in a pile on the floor. Then to have been seen by over 400 people could not have been faked.
  8. At this time the disciples were scared, they were afraid that they were going to be next if the Romans could get their hand on them. Knowing how men act when they are afraid they were in hidding somewhere, and wanted to be left alone. But God had other plans for these men, They were forced to come out of hidding and witness the mircule that God had in store for them.
  9. If the disciples took Jesus' body, it would have been to fool the people, but then they would have died for nothing, a false cause. If the Romans took Jesus, it would have been so no-one would have return to the tomb to pray, but this also is to late, to many people saw Jesus die, and where he was put to rest. The Jews also could not have taken him, Jesus was dead, it was pass-over and they wold not handle a dead person during this time. Why would Joesph take Juses, he gave him the tomb in which he was laid, So none of this would make sense.
  10. Some people have a hard time with faith, and to believe that Jesus did raise form the dead requires just that. All things that God does for us requires a certian amout of faith, and I believe these people have lost that. Instead of getting upset with them we should pray for them, that they can find want they have allowed others to take.
  11. Hello My Friends in Christ, I am a 52 year old, Male, I have been married 31 years to my best friend, and together we have raise 5 children. I am really just starting my faith journey to the Lord
  12. Jesus' enemies might not have believed that he would raise after three days, but they knew that if Jesus' body was missing his fellowers would have afield day with that. By posting guards they felt that Jesus would be there in three days, one must would abut their reaction when they found the empty.
  13. Jesus will lead us to the father, through him we keep the spark of life that will never die, he will be there at the end of time to greet the faithful.
  14. When the time for judgement comes eaveyone will be raised, the good and the evil. The evil of the earth will return to death forever, but the good will recieve their just rewards, life with the LORD untill the end of time.
  15. Job tells us that this is not it, we will raise from the dead and that we don't have to be removed from God.
