  1. Why are sins of the tongue so easy to slip into? As we know the tongue is like a spark of fire that can burn the forest. that what is written in James 3:5 So also, the tongue is a small thing, but what enormous damage it can do. A tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. and if we didn't control it will cause use sins. In what ways do they damage us and others? Tongue can damage a relationship, our own self, people we love and also will bring harm to body of Christ too. How can we break free of sins of the tongue? We need to depend God to break free. we need to use God word and also as what pastor Ralph says When we slip into our old vocabulary, we stop, ask forgiveness of God and any who may have heard us, and then substitute a more appropriate expression. After a dozen or several dozen repetitions of this process, our vocabulary gets much cleaner. Oh, we may slip occasionally, but it will no longer be our normal manner of expression. yup this is how we can break free.
  2. Q2. (Colossians 3:5) Why is sexual **** so difficult for people, especially males? Though we cannot deny that we are sexual beings, how can we keep sexual desire from controlling us and causing us to sin? For males it's more difficult because of biological differences. By knowing the truth from God word. First of all we must set our mind on thing above... Those who live according to flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For this reason the mind is set on the flesh is hostile to God;it does not submit to God's law- indeed it cannot and those who are in the flesh cannot please God...(Romans 8:5-8) other than that, our old selves need to death... Put to death therefore whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, ****, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander and filthy language from your lips (col 3:5-8). Beside we need to pray and ask God to help us... we must always remember God is Holy...
  3. Q1. (Colossians 3:1-2) What does it mean to
  4. How did forgiveness free us from the Law? What is the significance of nailing the Law to the cross? What does this symbolize? How did the cross bring triumph over evil spiritual forces? God mercy and grace... if without god grace and mercy, we still under the law... for the law is truth and truth without race is judgment. The significance of nailing the Law to the cross mean we been forgiven and we no more live in gulity but new live with God. * Binding the strong man. Jesus relates a parable that points to his overpowering Satan and taking his goods (Matthew 12:29; Luke 11:22). * Satan falling from heaven. Jesus alludes to Satan's fall from heaven when the 70 report their ability to cast out demons, but the time frame isn't specified (Luke 10:18). * Prince of the world driven out seems to be tied to Jesus' death (John 12:31). * War in heaven is a vision in Revelation, where Satan is thrown out of heaven when he tries to destroy the Messiah and the church (Revelation 12). * Satan is bound for 1,000 years, then released, fights the final war against the Messiah, and is thrown into the lake of fire (Revelation 20). If Christ disarmed and conquered the principalities and powers on the cross, why do we still have to fight them (Ephesians 6:10-18)? We don't know fully. The decisive battle was won on the cross. Satan was weakened and the church given power over him, but Satan has not been fully destroyed. This is part of the "now and in the future" nature of the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom is here now, but will come in its fullness -- and Satan will be defeated completely and utterly -- after Christ returns.
  5. (Colossians 2:9-10) What does verse 9 teach about Christ's full divinity? In what sense are we "complete" or "come to fullness" in Christ? What does this mean? Why do we sometimes fail to understand this fullness? ' For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form'. this verse teach abt God dwells in his Son, the Messiah, the Christ. He does not dwell in us in the same degree as he dwells in his Son. We are merely creatures, fallen from God's perfect creation, who are being gradually restored by the Spirit to our full glory (2 Corinthians 3:18; 4:16-17). But Christ is not a created being, but the Creator himself, for "all things were created by him and for him" (1:16). Jesus is "one" with the Father (John 1:30), glorified with the Father before all creation (John 17:5). He is God in the flesh (John 1:14), the "only begotten God" (John 1:18, NASB). When we recieve Christ, our sin been clear and we able to reconcile with God. For he live in us and we live in him. Something we fail to understand because our disobedient, and our pride that stop us to understand this fullness.
  6. Philosophy refers to a prevailing belief system. How can a belief system be empty and false? Have you ever personally experienced being captivated by a belief system only to find it deceptive and hollow? A belief system is empty and false by carrying someone away from the truth into the slavery of error. Whereby, they use their wisdom especially worthwhile knowledge of a comprehensive nature to speak. Yes, before i really know God word... but now, no more. For the truth will set u free. and God word is truth

What does "the hope of glory" mean in this context? Mystery that Paul talks about is the gospel. At first, the gospel is for the chosen Jews people ,but afterward also for the Gentiles. This mystery is overflowing with blessing and "glorious riches." At first, we must know we are not suitable to recieve his Blessing and glorious riches but because God mercy and Grace, we recieved it freely o it can be say take for granted. Thanks God for this gift... Amen When we have this relationship we God, we will become more like Christ and his likeness is revealing through us, specially hw we act in the darkness. For we are the light and salt of the world. through this God glory will reveal among the others. Plus, our life is in Jesus, strength is in Jesus and live too, so Jesus also live in us. what i understand 'The hope of glory' mean what we do in Christ shall not be in vain. And we keep follow him until his return no matter what happen, no matter hw people think about us, we keep believing and have faith in Him.
  8. q1. How could Paul's sufferings in prison complete what is lacking in Christ's afflictions? Paul's suffering and perhaps we will also go through the suffering that christ. We might go through persecution specially from our close family, relative and friend. All this suffering only for a while but in the return the reward is eternal life wih Christ."Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory." (2 Timothy 2:10). We also know that when we suffering Jesus also same with us that written in:"We are ... heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory." (Romans 8:17-18)" q2. Is Paul referring to Christ's sufferings on the cross?Or is he seeing suffering in some kind of cosmic sense? no. It referring the to the work that we need to do. The refeering is about persecution, challenging and etc. q3. If so, in what sense are your sufferings for Christ of value to the church? As for me, i suffering for Christ of value to the church is persecution from my own blood and fresh family and relative. plus, my secular word and serving. i believe God is in control.

  10. (Colossians 1:23) If our salvation depends upon the grace of God, not us, why is it necessary for us to "continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved"? What happens if we don't? What is the nature of the security we have in Jesus according to this text (and this text only*)? Our salvation is depend upon the grace of God, and we not only stop in Salvation mode but we need to experience his faithfulness, his greatness... to experience it, we need to seek him... Why we need to "continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved"? So that we may not fall down. because this world belong to satan and he is happy when we fall down.so we need to be alert all the time and need to bulid a strong faith, established and firm, not move. if we don't will, we easy fall down... and satan is very happy... so as God precious servant we need to stang firm... "If you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant." according to this text, for what i understand, although we recieve salvation, we need to stand firm... specially we need to hold on the gospel for this is our hope... we must always remember and mediate and we need to share with other... so other people also will recieve the blessing from God... In Matthew 28:19, therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy spirit

  12. How can we be presented "holy," "without blemish," and "free from accusation" since we are not perfect? How is this possible? We can be holy, without blemish and free from accusation by Jesus blood... is by faith... and believe that Jesus had forgive us when ever we come to him to ask forgivness... most important never doubt... in James 1:6 But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind..
  13. (Colossians 1:20-22) By what means did Jesus accomplish this reconciliation? What does "the blood of his cross" have to do with it? What is the purpose of this reconciliation? (verse 22) To whom are we "presented?" (verse 22) he died for us on the cross... The blood of his cross able to wash away our sin... For Jesus blood is pure and holy... only by his blood we able to free and our sin been wash away... For christ diead for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous to bring you to God (1 peter 3:18) The purpose of his reconciliation so we able to have relation with God... And only through Jesus that we can meet God... John 14:6 I m the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the FAther except through me... We will be presented to God... and we need to be holy...how we can be holy? is by Jesus blood... y we need to be holy? because our Father in heaven is holy...
  14. (Colossians 1:20-22). What does "reconcile" mean? What was our state before reconciliation? (verse 21) Reconcile mean to restore to friendship or a broken relationship turn back to its origin purpose... Just like the parable abt the only Lost Son... Before reconciliation, we all are sinners, enemy of God...and with evil behaviour.
  15. Q4. (Colossians 1:18) How should the assertion that Jesus is the "head of the body, the church" affect the way we conceive of the church? Is he talking about the universal church or a local congregation, or both? If we believe that Jesus is the head of the church, how should that affect the way we conduct our life and ministry as the church? In what ways does the visible church represent the "head"? How well do we as the body follow his leadership? 1.Church is not only a buliding but a group of christian brothers and sisters that meet together to praise and worship our Lord. It been written in so it is with Christ's body. We are all parts of his one body, and each of us has different work to do. And since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other, and each of us needs all the others. Ro 12:5 And the head of this body is Christ alone... and is written in col 2:19 But they are not connected to Christ, the head of the body. For we are joined together in his body by his strong sinews, and we grow only as we get our nourishment and strength from God. with this Jesus is the head of the body, the church. Plus, we all are church and is written in 1 cor 6:19 don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, Amen 2. He talking abt both... 3.we need to stay holy and pure for God say "So set yourselves apart to be holy, for I, the LORD, am your God" that is in Lev 20:7 and also in 1 peter 1:16 For he himself has said, "You must be holy because I am holy." 4. is by us, for we are the light and salt of the world (matth 5:13-16)and every one is watching us every action include how we live... for our life is the testimony to other.... So we need to stick close to God so we can be more like Christ... 5. To follow his leadership, we need to be obedient and willing to follow him... include surrender all ourself to him... mean " let him to be part of all our activity in our life... however, most christian didnt surrender to him... so cm fellow brothers n sisters be willing and be obedient ...
  16. "Thrones," "powers," "rulers," "principalities," "authorities," etc. probably refer to both earthly as well as angelic and demonic dominions. What does this passage teach about the relation of these powers to Jesus? How should this affect our fear of them? How should it affect our prayers? from this passage, i know that Jesus is above all else. in the Col 1: 16 for by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him... Jesus came and told his disciples, "I have been given complete authority in heaven and on earth. Mt 28:18 There nothing for us to fear specially toward the authorities because God is in control and in Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall i fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall i be afraid? also in Psalm 23: 4 I will fear no evil for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me... it wouldnt affect our prayers when we hold on God's Word and keep praying no matter in what situation in 1 thess 5:17 pray continually... for God hear our prayer... dont give up in prayers keep on and on believe and God is hearing... Amen

He was with God in the beginning. john 1:1 6. nw? his present role is creator, for thing create before him and is by him and for him.. amen!!!
