  1. Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the bible tells me so, a no brainer if your faith and belief is in the Word of God. John 14v 8-9 says it all for me. Jesus was-is- God in the flesh, he could be touched, and he experienced real physical pain when he was being beated and crucified. I think God deliberately made sure there was no actual physical description of Jesus, therefore mankind could not erect a resemblence- although many do, we always want a tangible example, a bit like the people ot the new testemant times- always wanting a sign. If you have faith, you just beleive- we all believe in an invisible God- but He is everywhere all the time
  2. Any good relationship is a two way street, to be in converstion with one another- the same applies to our prayer life- walk- with God. If one fails to participate- namely us- the relationship dies away and we wander off in our flesh. To maintain the good prayer life we must remain in fellowship with the one true God, otherwise we back slide, we need fellowship with all mighty and to stay rooted and grounded- not torn from the foundation of his love. Our salvation comes through Jesus, he is our intersessor and we are reconciled to the father through faith and belief in His beloved Son
  3. Jesus was with God at creation, -ie Let us make man in our own image. He was before all things and in HIm all thing exist and were created, He was before all things period. I think He may have been a created being in the sence that He came to earth in the form of man- the begotten son of God.Creation exist because God created it, and everything in it- Jesus has complete authority over the whole earth, under the earth, and above. He is the great I AM.
  4. Rescued, redemption, bought, forgiven. Jesus. We as sinners, God chose me and how wonderfull is that, I can receive His favour, mercy and grace, all given freely.I think we are esentially rescued from ourselves, redemed through the shed blood of Christ, bought with His blood, and forgiven of all our wrong- through confession. We are comanded to be a living temple of God, we are His property, we don't belong to ourselves, and we are released from the bondage of satan, forgivness liberates us from our old past life of sin, it is without conditions. Jesus wiped my slate clean with HIs precious blood, and how wonderfull that is- it is no longer I that live, but Christ that lives in me ect.
  5. Because as sinners we were in slavery to the prince of darkness, in bondage to him, most d words refer to satan, depression dispondency ect anyone who has experienced these d word knows just how dark they are, but once we are saved, translated into the kingdom of God, we experience a change, a lightness, revelation that God, Jesus is our salvation, Jesus is light and in him there is no darkness at all- that says it all for me, why would you choose the dark? Darkness speaks of an absence of light, warmth and joy, Gods kingdom of light has all these qualities. Why would you go back, sometimes we need reminding of just where we have been.Gods way is a better way, we were given a free will and the choices we make have outcomes, we know right from wrong, good from bad, so the choices we make govern our outcomes, satans rule or Gods rule, both goverments dominion or kingdom, which ever you choose you will be subject to the outcomes
  6. Knowledge of his will, spiritual understanding and wisdom, live a life worthy of God, bearing fruit, growing in the knowledge of Him, strengthened in power, great endurance and patience, be joyfull in all you do.There is not one that could be singled out as more important than the other, These qualities are intrinsically linked together, like our own body parts, they can fuction independently, but to have full functional power they need each other, as do these principles of christianity, one is not greater than the other. If one is missing we have a breakdown of power and function- weak
