We can “associate with sinners” but we should not invite them into our homes. Jesus’ “biddies” were the disciples that He had picked out and were always traveling with him. The way that we can balance our lives so that we can enjoy friendship with non-Christians while not becoming like them is to the same thing that Jesus did and have a core of Christians to hang out with. The strategic effect of having no friendship with non-Christians is that they would have a chance to hear about Jesus and maybe we could help them become one.
