When God plucks us out of the world to become His adopted sons, we now have Him as our Father. We can know that God loves us as His very own, and we can ask Him for the things we need, without fear of rejection. We also begin to want to become holy like our Father is holy.

Through the blood of Jesus, with our sins forgiven, God sees us as a work completed, because He knows the end from the beginning.

To me there is nothing scary about predestination. God is Love and just. He will somehow work things out justly. Everything is comforting about it, i.e.

We are encapsulated in Christ, in the world, but not of the world.

Hi, I am Violetta, 60 years old-for a few days, from Beach City, Texas. Beach City is a very small town about 50 or so miles east of Houston. I am currently in a Bible study at my home. We are on Ephesians and we can use all the help we can get. I'm looking forward to diving in.
