They broke the very first commandment. Not to worship any other "gods" besides GOD. They worshiped the gods of the Amorites which was Baal. They did not listen to God because HE told them thou shalt NOT worship ANY other "gods' besides Him. We can do the same thing today if we are unbelievers we are worshiping other "gods" automatically. Even if we are believers we can worship other "gods" in our life by putting other people and things FIRST before GOD in our life.

Gideon was blaming God for what had happened to their land and how it got destroyed by the Medians. He saw what was happening in the flesh instead of trusting God in the Spirit. He didnt' understand God's ways of doing things just like we don't understand God's ways. We see everything falling apart around us in our circumstances but instead of trusting God we blame Him.

Praise the Lord! My name is Pamela. I am from Pismo Beach, California. I go to a small church that has recently merged two churches together. We have by the Lord's leading merged an Assembly of God & Foursquare Church together. The Lord is doing MIGHTY things! I am a single mother and have three grown daughters. The two oldest in their 20's and the youngest just turning 19yrs old. I have been a bornagain, spirit filled believer since 1973 with a few years of being away from the Lord. But praise be to our Lord JESUS that HE is faithful and extends HIS grace and forgiveness towards us!!! I'm excited about this online Bible study and enjoyed very much the first one!
