  1. Elisha's servant was afraid because he did not have eyes of faith. Elisha asked God to give him eyes to see, and he saw the armies of heaven which were much greater thn the enemie's. It takes salvation so the Holy Spirit can open our eyes to God's word, his principles, his love, his law and opens the door for His own armies to battle for us.
  2. Q4. Meditate on the titles "King of Glory" (Psalm 24:7-10) and "Father of glory" (Ephesians 1:17). What do they tell us about God? How should they affect our attitudes as we worship God? According to 2 Corinthians 3:18, how does God's glory come to fill our lives? God is not only the highest of the High, our Most High God but He is the embodiment of Glory, radiant in His being. He is so beautiful that we desire to bow down and in the Psalm piece He tells us to lift up our heads; look upon Him; allow His glory to permeate our spirits and our souls, and our bodies that we too may be a shining beacon in the darkness. If we are to radiate with His glory in our lives, for me, I must keep in close relationship with Him; allowing His desires for my life to supersede any of my own. As I allow His glory to fill me I will radiate Him to my world. The closer and longer He is reigning fully in my life He changes me into His likeness. His glory will shine through whatever He has for me to do.
  3. Q3. Meditate on the phrase "High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy...." (Isaiah 57:15, RSV). What do you learn about God from this phrase? How should this affect your outlook on life, your way of conducting yourself? To look at God who is High and Lofty and inhabits eternity I must go back to verse 14. It tells us what we are to do because he is our God. This God who is in the highest of the high places and has no beginning and no end; whose very name is holy; asks us who are the lowliest of the low, sinners, mortal, of no name to speak of; to prepare the way for His coming. How does that affect my life. Humbly serving Him and Him alone throughout my days. Seeking His desires for me, and constantly being awake to what is set for me to do to prepare the way for Him to reign in this kingdom as much as the kingdom to come.
  4. Most high means above all and I mean ALL. In my life I am humbled and blessed that the one who created the universe and rules over His creation; not only created little ole' me but He wants a relationship with me. Therefore, I will worship Him in spirit and in truth, in song and deed, with my whole life and my whole being. I am sooo grateful that He is The Most High God.
  5. Melchizadek and Abraham both believe that the one God is the creator of heaven and earth. Both of them gave their allegience to the Most High God. Both of them blessed God with their tithe, which gave God the Most High God, their gratefulness and thanksgiving. Isn't it humbling to know we are blessed by the Most High God. The creator of all things.
