  1. A3. (Psalm 117 and Lamentations 3:22-23) Love is important because a loving mindset is the only one to make good decisions in. And trustworthiness is important because without being honest and straight forward a person would become so diluted that they wouldn't even know the truth about basic personal things any more. truth, love, etc...not really
  2. A2. (Psalm 145) 16.You open Your hand and satisfy every living thing [with] its desire. It is important to praise God because the truth is that God has done all these things. I am living and being mindful of God's presence.
  3. A1. (Psalm 103) Slow to anger and with much kindness. It displays how through constant churning, society goes through back and forth motions which serve to make the people become moral. But, when the people have power they become immoral so the society has to go the other way to remove the power and the immorality. God's forgiveness is only for those who fear him.
  4. A4. (Psalm 24) Psalm 1-2 establish the Lord's right as King as the one who everything belongs to and the creator of everything. Psalm 3-6 tell us that the requirements of the King are clean hands and a pure heart, people who do not follow after a false idol or swear by what is false. Psalm 7-19 tell us that the King of glory is the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle, The LORD Almighty. This Psalm brings to my mind that I need to be more in line with the morals and virtues that God has for me.
  5. A3. (Psalm 126). In Psalm 126:1-3 they are recounting the joyful feelings of having come full circle. And then in the prayer they are asking for a similar revolution in fortune. The wadi is of life being given to a dieing land, to have life sustaining aid. And, the sowing and reaping, I think is about social cycles. A people have to go through a time of "sowing" in order to go through a time of "reaping."
  6. Q2. (psalm 96) Through praise we can learn and solidify in our minds exactly what it is that God has revealed himself to be. When we don't ascribe the qualities we aren't really aware of who God is, and we aren't teaching the revealed God. God is the best, I am glad to know that.
  7. A1. (Psalm 57) It can be hard to concentrate when we are under pressure. Praise is fun and includes other people. That's good!!! Praise cheers us up. & can bring to focus the Lord. Every time we think of God is bringing Him more and more into our life's.
  8. A5. To be pleasant inside of our self's. No mater what.
  9. A4. Psalm 46 It shows a God that will take care of us. The picture makes us feel safe. Our words should come from a peaceful heart. The knowledge that the helper of the harassed and harried person is the most powerful being does bring some peace. To be still in our heart, so that the life inside of us is pleasant and does not harden us. So we can stay moral.
  10. A3. (Psalm 31) It means that the spirit is about to leave the body and that the person is sending it into the care of the Lord. It helps a person feel like they will be safe even after death and shows their faith. God who means us good has our day to day life's in his care. Everything that takes place is for some good purpose or at least for moral growth.
  11. A2. Psalm 23 According to Psalm 23 the Lord quiets us and gives us confidence by taking care of all our needs. both physical and moral. 11 ways.
  12. A1. Psalm 131 David describes quieting his mind by keeping his heart from pride, and from keeping himself from having a condescending outlook towards other people. He stays out of things that are beyond him and to difficult for him. Then he thinks of his soul, within himself, as being like a weaned child resting against his mother.
  13. A4. Lesson 6 Yes God really protects us. Maybe after refining us, God tests us. The mind of God has loving and good reasons, what ever they are. God protects us in every single way.
  14. A3. (Psalm 121) Lesson 6 God makes me safe and corrects me..keeping me safe even from my heart wandering into evil. It makes me feel like I am reading something good.
  15. Q2. (Psalm 91) Lesson 6 Gods protection from danger shows that their is no danger to a godly person who knows God. We will trample our enemies under foot. The Psalm promises that if you live in Gods house, you will be living in his shadow. Because its Him who rescues and protects you. What happens right next to you will not hurt you if you are godly. His helpers will look after you. I am promised to be rescued and to see His salvation. That makes me feel relieved.
  16. Q2. (Psalm 61:1-4) Lesson 6 The images of Gods protection in this psalm is of God hearing his prayer, him being led to a high rock, of God being a refuge and strong tower, and being able to dwell in Gods tent and to be under Gods wings.
  17. A5. (Psalm 80) Father Jehovah please show your love to me. I am lost in the hurt of my heart. Holy Spirit please help me back to what is right. Lord Jesus please forgive me, I need your forgiveness. God I want to be right with your purpose, it is only yours. I want to be part of what is good to you. That is the only thing that is right. Please redeem me, I am nothing without you. I know you love me. I know you are helping me. I know you will forgive me. Please keep me. I completely lost. Guide me back to your path. To not make a long prayer, I will finish with saying: I know you are redeeming me. Please keep me, only you can. I love you God. Thank you. Amen.
  18. A4. (Psalm 40:17) We need humility about God because God is so much better. Faith is important, without it we wouldn't truly trust God. It is not right thinking if I do not have both of these things.
  19. A3. (Psalm 40:5b) I get scared, and try to remember that it's because God loves me.
  20. A2. (Psalm 69:30-32) The ending upswing must of been the style of the day. Considering that they were the first people who the Lord took completely as his own, maybe we should copy the style. Praise is important because God deserves praise, especially since all things are in the Gods hands.
  21. A1. (Psalm 69:12-18) God will always redeem a person, especially if they want to change. God's love for each of us is endless, and sometimes it is tough love.
  22. A3. (Psalm 98) In Psalm 98, the reasons given for praise are: For He has done wonderful things, His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him. The LORD has made known His salvation; He has revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations. He has remembered His loving-kindness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. for He is coming to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness And the peoples with equity. In this psalm praise is so exuberant because it tells us that God has ensured that what is right is right, and God will prove correct what is correct. The people practicing righteousness have not wasted their time but have succeeded. When God judges the world with righteousness and equity.
  23. A2. (Psalm 95) Psalm 95 says we should worship because: the LORD is a great God. And a great King above all gods, In whose hand are the depths of the earth, The peaks of the mountains are His also. The sea is His, for it was He who made it, And His hands formed the dry land. For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand verses 8-11 are included because if today you heard His voice, you should not harden your heart by quarreling with nor testing the Lord, because of temptation. It fits as the most important part, the first part says to worship and says how great God is. And then in the end it warns against rebelling against God and warns against not trusting God.
  24. A3. Lesson 2. (Psalm 63) The recognition that God loves me helps me accept that everything is for the good. That helps me accept that what is good will prosper, what causes hurt will be in failure.
  25. A2. Lesson 2. (Psalms 42-43) The Psalmist is feeling a deep need for the presence of the Lord in his life. Then he spreads out his hands to God. He remembers the better days with festive throngs of the faithful. I have felt the need for help with myself, and have also asked God for help.
