  1. Psalm 96 Question (2) To "ascribe" to God is to give Him what is due. God is worthy to be praised, He is high and lifted up we are to praise him at all times. God is All Powerful, there is none like Him, God is God all by Himself. God is not pleased when we do not give/render unto Him what is due Him. Praise to God is "fitting" and "worthy". What Father doesn't want his children to Thank him? God smiles and reward us for rending all of our Thanksgiving,Praise and worship. OUR PRAISE AND WORSHIP PLEASES GOD.
  2. Psalm 57 Question (1) It is easy to Praise God when things are going good, we can raise/lift our hands, sing, dance and shout. The problem is when things are rough and we are having it hard, the focus seem to be on us and not on God. Ihe Psalmist said, "I will praise the Lord at all times, His praise will continuesly be in my mouth. Oh how good it ishrist to praise the LORD! When trouble/circumstances come our way, we should praise God. (remember it could always be worse) praise and thank God in spite of the circumstance. Remember, "all things work togrther for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose". Praise ignites our faith, we rely on what we believe. Our attitude should be as that of Paul, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"(Phil. 4:13). Knowing that God is always ther gives us assurance that everything will be alright. God gives us power to defeat our circumstances and enemies.
  3. Question (3) (Psalm 117 and Lamentations 3:22-23) God's mercies are new each day. Truth, love, and trustworthiness are important because as children of God, we must be like Him. God is full of mercy and compassion. God is faithful to His WORD and all of His promises. (Eph 2:4-5) God is rich in mercy and has great love and loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace we have been saved).
  4. Psalm 145 Question (2) The aspects of God's character that really stand out to me is His Greatness, His Grace and Mercy and the fullness of His compassion. God shows His presence throughout all generations. When we call on Him and fear Him He is always ready and will deliver us. Every creature, every human being should praise Him because He is worthy to be praised. We were made by Him and for Him. We must praise Him always for who He is. God is so worthy tobe praised! I pray and praise God for all things in good time and in bad times. I encourage others to do the same. There are times when this old world get me down, it is at times such as these that I stop worrying about people mistreating me and hold on to God's Promises. I tell my family and others, "It pays to serve God".
  5. (A) Aspects of God's character= God is compassionate at all times, He is very forgiving this is from here to eternity.God loves us so much , He tolerates some of the wrong things we do at times, allowing us time to "get it right" when we don't He does what He has to do with/for us. ( Because of compassion we are redeemed. His redemption is freely given to those of us who believe and trust Him. © The Exodus was a learning experience for Israel. They had to learn how to appreciate God. (D) There is no limit to God's forgiveness. When Jesus died on the cross He took our sins upon Himself, thus making it possible for God to forgive us. His mercy endureth forever. What a loving Father God is !
  6. Knowing that God loves me gives me hope, it enables me to keep going no matter how difficult life can be at times. God loves me in good and bad times. His love is "real". God does not pretend. Knowing that He loves me calms me when I need it most. When family and friends forsake me, I find peace by knowing I am safe in the arms of Jesus. I have to keep on praising Him. He is my portion, there is no one like Him, no love like His. Realizing God loves me is all I need to know when life's troubles try to get me down. Faith is trusting in God to do what is best for me. What a joy it is to know He loves me, even when I don't deserve it.
  7. David is feeling a need for God's intervention on his behalf. He longs for the presence of God. He has a sin cere thirst for God. In time of trouble, I too desire the peace and security of God. I am alive , I need more of God in my life. I pray to Him daily not always on my knees. However, I want more of Him. I am truly dependending on Him. I thank and Praise Him for who he is.
  8. Part 2 (Verse 14) God is important in our lives. God sees and hears everything we do and say. David realized these facts. He realizes that he needs God to over see and guide his innermost and outward words. He is saying, let my spoken words and murmurs be pleasing to you Lord. The heart does not always meditate on godly things. Thus, David is asking for guidance and protection in everything he thinks or speaks; "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks" (Matthew 12:34). Paying special attention to what is going on in our hearts, we will eradicate negativism, evil criticism and bitterness. We should always ask God to cleanse, forgive, and give us words that are of blessing and praise to speak.
  9. . The "common thread" between the verses is the Word of God. God's Word is constant it stands forever and can never be changed or altered. The Psalmist acknowledges the Word of God as being True and last forever. He wants to enjoy the comfort felt as he meditates on God's Word. Yes, I love God, I need more of Him. He is my all and all! (Verses 12-13) There is cleansing in and through the Word of God. The question is asked, "Who can understand his errors"? One can never understand the depth of one's sin. If one could. one could never cleanse one's self from sin. We as Christians must be willing to willing to seek and allow God's Word along with the Holy Spirit to examine our hearts, minds and behavior. This allows our sins to be exposed, thus we should turn from them. When we do this God will forgive us (God is "faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." It is a choice we must make. Allowing God Word to search and cleanse our hearts and minds brings healing and cleansing of current sins and prevent future trespasses in our lives. When God forgives us He no longer remembers our sins (Jeremiah 31:34).
  10. God is the Creator of all things, the heavens, earth, everything on or in the earth and heaven. God created man and placed him above all things. He gave man dominion over all things. God is an awesome God. What a mighty God! God is excellent! Wonderful! There will never be enough words in the dictionary to describe how Great God is. He deserves all honor, praise and glory. Human beings are God's handiwork, He adopted us as His own sons and daughters. He gave His best for us. We owe Him, we will never be able to repay the debt. God made us with honor, aas children of God we are important and we need to conduct our lives in a manner that is pleasing to Him. In man's smallness God has crowned him with splendor. Christ gave His life for us. He wants each of us to be saved. He loves us and tells us to love each other. Our responsibility is to believe in Him, confess our sins, ask for forgiveness and Salvation. After being saved we must live a Christian life. We serve God by serving others. Life without God is not worth living. We are to share the "Good News" with everyone we meet who don't know "Jesus Saves".
  11. This Psalm teaches us that God is the Creator amd maker of all the universe. The Heavens and earth were created by Him for mankind. God has given each of us talents, gifts and abilities to use to Glorify Him. God Has a plan for our lives. Human beings were made a little lower than the Angels. They did not evolve, they were made in the 'likeness' and 'Image' of Himself. Through the Sin of the first Adam,we gave control of the earth to Satan. However, praise be to God through the second Adam (Jesus Christ) God has made provision for eternal Redemption (Romans 8:19-20). God gave us the authority over the earth and everything in it. Our Responibility is to be Obedient to the will of God. We are to conduct ourselves as children of God. We are to press toward the 'Prize' of a 'Higher Call'.
