Q4. (1:5-8) What is the promise to claim in verse 5? What is the condition attached to this promise in verse 6? How do trials help us receive this wisdom? God promises when we ask to give us wisdom, the condition is that we submit to his will solely without hesitation, if we don't it will be pointless to ask for wisdom because it will not be given to you. Trials allow for us to submit totally to God because he has the true answer for the situation.

Trials are Gods way of waking us up, most if not all of the trials that I have been through I wound up on my knees asking God to deliver me from the pain. When I was confused the only choice I had was to go to God because it was the only true answer. Going through trials help me to see that the only way to get answers is through the Lord Jesus Christ. The only time there was peace was when I went to the Lord with the problem, opened my heart, mind and soul and allowed him to take full control of what I was feeling, hearing and speaking. My faith through time and trials grew and continues to grow everyday.

I believe people blame God for evil because it's easy to do. I believe the challenge is looking within your self to see how you can make things better. Not for yourself but for others. God gives us choices and it is up to us to make the choice that is pleasing to him. God wants us to come to him willing and able to do a great service and that means being able to resist temptation that will hinder your walk with him. It is so easy to be sinful because we are born of the flesh, the flesh and the spirit are constantly fighting each other, God wants us to be so filled with his word that when the flesh is attacking we are equipped to win the battle.
