  1. Q3. (1:5-8) How do trials help cure us of "doublemindedness"? How do trials help us grow in faith? When we go through trials and pray that God will give us the wisdom needed to overcome our trial we then see How the Lord answered our prayers. We then have a stronger faith in our prayers and know that the Lord will help us. Our trials bring us closer to God. We spend more time praying for guidance and help and in turn spend more time focused on the Lord. Our faith becomes stronger through these close times and more reliance on the Lord.
  2. Q2. (1:13-15) Why do people blame God for evil? Does God tempt us with evil? Does he tempt sinful people with evil? Why does he allow people to sin? Why does he allow evil to exist at all? I think people blame God for evil because they are not very strong in their faith or they don't really have faith and they just want someone or something to blame for the bad in life. God does not tempt. He allows us to be tempted by Satan because He knows that it will help us become closer to Him. He allows us to sin and evil to exsits because God gives us our chooser and unfortunatrly we as humans tend to sin and commit evil acts. I think these choices hurt God because He sees His children making bad choices and as any parent He would like to make the choices for us but knows that we will never learn if He steps in.
  3. Q1. (1:2-4) What value have trials had in your life? Have you let Satan destroy you with those trials? Or allowed God to refine you? How have you changed? Since coming to the Lord I have had many trials. Some of them have really sent me for a loop and I allowed them to "destroy" me for the time. Satan really knows when to attack but there many trials that I came through wonderfully and they did "refine" me. I thank God that I have expierenced both and pray that when I come accross the trials that destroyed me at the time I will over come them this time and be able to see the blessing with those as I did with the others.
