  1. When we accepted Jesus we became citizens of the kingdom of God. We are holy because of what Was done for us on Calvary and our decision to follow Jesus. His words are , Be ye holy because I am holy and without holiness no one will see God. Holiness should be a lifestyle which affects our words, actions and evrything about us.
  2. Access to the Father is important because He is our peacegiver, sustainer, our creator, He is everything and has given everything we need to live this life. He is the one who pronounces us innocent. Having access to the Father allows us the privilege of being able to seek His wisdom, His advice and feel His love and concern He has for us. Without that access we would lose out on all of what He can give. Countries having diplomatic relations have commmunication with each other and that is what we need to do with our Father. This access is granted through Jesus Christ
  3. Question 1: In the New Testamnet world, what class of humans were freed by payment of a redemption price or a ransom? Why do you think that Jesus, Peter, and Paul used this analogy in this week's theme verses. What about the Christian life does it help explain? Jesus died for and paid a ransom for all classes of people. They used this analogy because it is an example of where people live today. People are in slavery to sin, easy prey for Satan's deception and living empty lives . It shows a progressive line from hopelessness to the place of realizing the truth of God, applying the truth of God and being set free. Rita
  4. When we understand the the background of the Jewish people, that of slaughteringa a lamb for the atonement of sin it is easy to understand. They had to present a lamb without blemish and lay hands on it and kill it for the cleansing of their sins. When we understand this fact we understand that Lamb of God refers to sacrifice.
  5. Uncontrollrd anger is being angry at everything and it leads to more anger and violence . When we see people in sin it should anger us because they are missing the mark of what God has for them, thus missing HIs best. Anger that berings about justice is doing somehting about the sin that surrounds us.
