  1. Dwelling in unity together tends to be difficult, because we tend to forget that the world does not revolve around our own wants and needs. Unity requires us to make God our sole purpose and to forget that the person next to us is anyone other than another child of God.
  2. This psalm instructs us on honesty, sincerety, faithfulness, kindness, and not being greedy. You must speak the truth, be faithful to God and his followers without being unkind to sinners. You must be willing to share the many things that God has given you with a loving heart. But most importantly you must be sincere in your love of God.
  3. We need to be reminded that the righteous will succeed, because it seems so much easier to be a sinner who hangs out with the mockers. The two verses that stood out to me were the third and fourth, the comparison between the tree thats leaves never wither and the worthless chaff scattered in the wind is easily pictured and is almost startling.
  4. Recognition that God loves you is the basis of all faith, because everyone wants to be loved unconditionally for who they are. God made you and loves the person that you are. Also, knowing how much God loves me and everyone else makes me love Him even more.
  5. I believe that the psalmist is lonely and feeling despair. He combats this by singing songs of worship and praise to remind himself that God does love him and has not abandoned him. I think that we all feel a little disconnected from God time to time, but we have to remember to pray and give thanks to God everyday. The more time we spend with Him the better we will feel.
  6. When David desires to "dwell in the house of the Lord" I believe that he means that he wants to feel close to the Lord and actually feel His presence surrounding him. To seek the Lord's face means to talk to Him on such a level that it is almost as though the Lord is sitting across from you and telling you what to do. David provides hope by reassuring everyone that the Lord will always be by your side.
  7. I believe that this psalm is teaching us about how much God really does love us. Not only did God create us, but He gave us this awesome place to live and gave us the responsibility to care for it as He takes care of us. I believe that it is a reminder that all human beings were created out of love and that God has given each of us a chance to live our lives for Him. Sometimes us humans can take for granted all that God has given us and we forget to thank Him for letting the sun shine on our faces. This psalm teaches us once again how loving Christ is. Jesus became a human being, one of us sinners who can take God's many gifts for granted, and saved us all. It is our responsibility to tell the world of God's love and the many gifts He has given us all. It is our responsiblity to use the gifts He has given us in a manner that is pleasing to Him. We also should be getting down on our knees everyday and thanking God for His love and all the things that we take for granted in life.
