  1. I am not sure about the question. So I refered back to , to make sure what the Scripture given for the question was specifically talking about."Not robbery" and "didn't cling" seems to me to mean very different things. Ok, "robbery would equal loss", and Christ Jesus thought it "not loss/robbery" to be equal with God, even as he was in the form of God!DIVINE...AMEN
  2. Humility is necessary in being "like minded.., having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind, in a congregation of people. The "like mindedness" here is that of Paul's as he follow's Christ. An example of lack of humility causing division in the church is not hard to see for your self. I'm not pointing finger's ok. I bring unity to this church, that is my body, in Christ by spending lots of time in The Word Of God, with other saints in Christ,.. searching, studying, sharing, and learning from eachother, with eachother. When thoughts are not mutual on what ever subject(s, we press through the Word of God, searching it out. Sometimes people leave because they cannot agree for whatever reason, and that is why it is so important to keep our opinions out of the discussion's and let Gods' Word mean what it say's.
  3. To Be With Christ! It Is Far Better! It energizes me for I have Life In Christ, and to be with The One Who Died for me in Heaven!wooohoooAbba
  4. Fear keep's one focused on the desire's of the flesh and is of the flesh, and subdues life. To Live abundantly In Christ one must realize that the Abundance is not here on Earth. Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven.....In all you do, do for the glory of God! As you move on in this life, In Christ, you will see for yourself just how rewarding it is. A big key to understanding Scripture is knowing where to rightly divided It! The Truth prevails and It is Awesome. Would you be afraid of what someone can do to your vile body anyway, and for that, one that there is no good thing in? Have you received/believed the Gospel of God in Vain?
  5. What kind of question is that you ask? You have to believe that Jesus died on the cross at Calvery, becoming sin for us, going down into the grave 3 day's...then rose again, bringing Forgiveness to All who Believe that's why He died and one time for that fact,..Believe on The Finnished Cross Work Of Christ Is All You Have To Do. With out that, there is no rejoicing.to answer the last part of question:I believe that is called "Blind Faith", for there was no proof before the assension of Christ of how the Gentiles would be brought in by The Body Of Christ, our instructions are not after the Law (OT). We Believe without the letter of the law. ...................
  6. I am just not sure why this question is asked!I think because the point of the question is out of line with the point of the Scripture refered from. All's I can say is: We are in Christ and Philippians 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Waxing confident by Paul's bonds, is different than being deemed credible or not for that which we suffer in Christ. Why was Paul's witness so powerful? It is the mind of Christ I have come to understand through the many things people say and do when speaking our Gospel of Christ to them, is to let Scripture interpret Scripture. Trying not to form an opinion. Let scripture mean what it say's, and you can't get anymore credible then that; and that goes for in everything i do, yet not i, but Christ in me, to the glory of God. I am not saying i am perfect in the flesh, nor even know all as i ought, and for that reason i
  7. Philippians 1:9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; Philippians 1:10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. Philippians 1:11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. I am not sure how you came up with these questions from the Scriptures you suggested, but i'll attempt to answer. I believe the reference to discernment, came from V 9, where Paul pray's that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment. In all judgement would be discerning the spirits; we are able to do that by knowledge of the Scriptures (not only knowledge. try telling the truth 100% of the time (practice) and see how much more discernment you receive) Amazing. Thereby approving that which is excellent. By approving them, they and we, are either found inline with Scripture, or not, and if not, then without offence we use the Scripture for correction. The result can be good, they can get understanding, or the hersie will continue and that to is to prove who we are In The Body Of Christ. Selfishness clouds discernment by putting them together like that. If one is choosing what they want to discern then they are setting their self up to be deceived. you know, like, if you only see what you want to see, then it's likely that that which you closed your eyes to is going to come back and bite you in the rear, and because "whoever" knew it, then the guilt is worse and they have a harder time letting it go, and wallow in it longer. I can't even guess on what you meant by the last part of this question. it makes no sense at all: How is the good the enemy of the best in our lives? beats me. Maybe you can furter expand on that question, or word it properly.
  8. Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:(kjv) Paul is "Confident", of what very thing / (v5) FELLOWSHIP IN THE GOSPEL, from at first they heard It, until now...you will find precisely what he means by Fellowship In The Gospel in the epistle to the Thessalonians; 1 Thessalonians 1:3 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; This question seems out of line. how can you ask "what does Paul expect God to do anything", we don't expect God like He has to answer to us. Paul is confident that God will finnish what He started. The basis of Paul's confidence/where do we start...on the road to Damascus/ummThe Revelation of The Mystery revealed to him after Christ assended - about our Salvation! I would say his basis Are In Christ! And again I do not expect God to do anything for me; that is other than He's already done. He is in me and I in Him. I am seated in the heavenlies with all Spiritual Blessings already. My rewards aren't here, and that's fine with me for there is no good thing in the flesh. I am Saved by The Faith of Jesus! Now, He will Open Your Eyes to Understanding! In all your getting, get understanding! You get that by: 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Amen
  9. It depends on why somebody would "partner" with a Christian missionary, minister, ministry, or church. What you get depends on your understanding of scripture (ultimately that is). You may have to do this in order to receive acceptance into the congregation you're looking at Somebody might have told you that you have to, that it is a godly thing to do. Well check the Word. What is that thing you are giving your funds and time to, teaching? Are you trying to live under the letter of the Old Testament? Where did you draw the line on what you will sacrafice. May I be so bold as to say that Our Instructions for this "Grace" time period that we are living in, are found in Roman's through Philemon. The Epistles of Paul. <<<Most Important. Other kinds of support one may offer Is Telling The Truth about The Finnished Cross Work of Calvery, and quit trying to mix what is for now in with that which was. We are not of the "lost sheep of Isreal". Go Deeper!
  10. A slave is purchased. A saint is purchased. In relationship to God we (believers) of the gosple of Paul; as revealed by Jesus after His assention, are purchased by The finnished cross work at calvery (His Blood). Being Baptized and Sealed By The Holy Spirit the moment ye first believed. Slaves don't have a choice in there service to their master. Saints decide their rewards.
  11. Hello Everyone. You may call me Love. Alot about me is that I am of The Body Of Christ; Sealed By The Holy Spirit. I look forward to this study with you all. Have A Grace Day!
