When we use words such as faithful Father, loving Father, holy and righteous Father we are honoring God. As we worship Him by calling His many names such as Jehovah Gibbor, Adonai and Jehovah Nissi we are expressing our love and appreciation to Him for who He is. When we offer unto Him the fruit of our lips by expressing praise and adoration to Him we are hallowing His precious name. The times when we flippantly mention His name in conversations as expletives desecrates His holy name.
