  1. Job trusted that his flesh would be raised again to be in the presence of the Lord, whereas the Jews held that the body was in the grave (sheol).
  2. The stone that had blocked the entrance to the tomb had been moved away The tomb was found empty--no body, only the burial cloths The tomb was found empty on the morning of the day after the Sabbath There was someone there to announce that Jesus was not there among the dead
  3. First--seeing the burial cloths there (and no body) Second--the cloths were not just abandoned. The head cloth was folded and apart from the other strips! They hadn't understood from the scriptures that Jesus must rise from the dead...but SEEING WAS BELIEVING!!!
