  1. Sometimes when browsing the Internet we go into sites that are not good for us. This we know is wrong, but unknowingly or unwittingly we are drawn first to see and then get addicted to it. because we know the truth and yet chose to do the wrong thing we are rebeling against God. God is fair and can judge us when we do wrong - as His children we are to be honest with Him and try not to hide when we are convcicted.
  2. We were once dead in our since, but have now been made alive in Christ Jesus. The non beleivers are dead in sins and subject to God's wrath now - until they come to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Knowing tthey will eternally be separated from God if they do not accept the forgiveness extended in Christ by God - I am to make use of every chance to tell others about salvation. - burt the sad fact is that I feel afraid of rejection, most of the times I do not feel the urgency to tell others about Christ. I pray for peoples salvation, but rarely tell others unless someone asks - which makes me feel guity. I pray for boldness to make use of every opportunity God gives me to tell someone daily.
  3. Thank you very much for putting a question such as this - I really did not think of life in Christ this way before. I guess whatever situation we are in -specially difficult ones - we must think it is temporary and we are going to be rich beyond our thinking/understanding someday with Christ. How we should live together with those who will share this blessing with us one day? I sometimes find it difficult to understand fellow beleivers attitudes ( though I feel guilty and repent when I think like this - and try to see the plank in my eye) It is difficult in an earthly manner - but at a seminar recently Bill Crowder of RBC said "the more we grow closer to Christ - the clearer we will see our sins and not the faults of others"
  4. we will be one day in heaven with Jesus - according to his promise. our lives should be changed as we have been promised eternal life and should be an example of the changed life. as christians we beleive the promises in the Bible and somehow know it is the truth and even death does not hold any fear anymore. those who do not beleive this differ in this, but i have sen some non beleivers who held onto the hope of their religius beleifs until their death. I think the witness of thr HolySpirit in our hearts give us he confidence that unbeleivers find hard to uinderstand in christians.
  5. The moment I beleived the Lord Jesus Christ to be my Savior - He came in the Form of the Holy Spirirt and therefore I am sealed in Him . I am able to enjoy God's power and presence now -when Jesus comes again it will be fully revealed - (I would like to think about it more, but I am very tired now and if I do not answer the questions daily I find it difficult to stay on track)
  6. The Trinity is ONE and in perfect unity - I have never had problems with this as I have been taught it is so. By the atoning death of Christ He is worthy to receive all Glory Honor and Praise - he is the head of the church for whom He died and rose again. I think instead of denominational barriers hindering us we scould all come together and give Him first place. Whether we like it or not we will be subject to Him - Jesus earned that right.
  7. That Jesus paid the price to buy me back because He loves me - without His sacrifice I would not have any hope in this life or after. Let me explain - for almost 18 years of my life I have suffered with Epilepsy and there was no way I could be healed and life was a misery for my family and I. Our youngest son was afraid to sleep when I was alone in bed because the seizures were so violent and fearful. then we looked to Jesus and stood on His word and claimed healing "By His Stripes we are healed" True to His Word - I was healed by His Grace and now the whole family is at Peace- I am seizure free for almost 3 years now - all praise and Glory to God. Therrefore I say Christ has redeemed me from not only Sin, but sickness too. What would life be without jesus? Well I know what hell must be like - because the agony of seizures I have gone through is I am sure an experience like hell being unable even to call on the name of Jesus... This is my experience and answer. Thank God for Jesus - He still does not condemn me when I disobey or do things I know are wrong..Who else can earn our love and devotion ? I am (my family too are) eternally thankful that Jesus redeems.
  8. Permit me to answer this question this way: I followed an Alpha course and there was an interesting story about a child whose friends sometimes made fun of. They used to say "You are adopted" to which she replied " your parents had no choice, I am special because I was chosen" - so that makes us special -God chose us in Christ before we were even born. Sometimes people say that is unfare by God, But I suppose we are all called and those who respond are adopted - and therefore let us be thankful we are the Sons and Daughters of the King even though we were once slaves. God's grace is wonderful.
  9. Amidst all what we go through in life the assurance given by God that I am His -family.
