  1. When we pray to God, we pray with respect and honor,to God'sanctuary and to his commandments.
  2. For believers, prayer is often an untapped resource or the last resort after every other possibility has been exhausted. Nehemiah's prayer was his immediate response. He knew that if the situation was to be corrected,God would be the one to accomplish it! This is a powerful reminder for us: We should fall on our knees so we don't fall on our face.
  3. As the Lord knows us thoroughly, and we are strangers to ourselves, we should earnestly desire and pray to be shearched and proved by his word and Spirit.if there be any wicked way in us,let us see it;and do root it out of us.The way of godliness is pleasing to God,and profitablt to us;andwill end in everlasting life.
  4. (Psalms 139:14)"Thank You for making me so wonderfullycomplex! Your workmanship is marvelous-and how well I know it." We are God's "workmanship" means that we unique and beautifl masterpieces works of divine poetry. Beauty and value are designed into the very fiber of our being by virture of our Creator.
  5. God responds favorably to humility, but keeps his distance from the proud, who think they have no need for him. David remained humble and seek God's face, and God renewed David with strength and power over his enemies. Yes,I have felt God's hand over me,and I have also seen Him during the time of surgery, and it felt beautiful to feel, and see him.
  6. People flee from God for they do not beleived there is a God, or he does not care,or he is blind,or all of what I just type. I have been there. God has perfect knowledge of us,and all our thoughts and actions are open before him. God takes strict notice of every step we take, every right step and every by step. He also knows what rule we walk by,what end we walk toward, and what company we walk with.
  7. Hezekiak situation seemed totally hopeless.God even told him that his life was over.Hezekiak cried out to God in prayer.Jerusalem was surrounded and besieged by the army of the largest empire on earth.Hezekiak does not pray,Lord, spare me,but Lord, remember me,whether I live or die, let me be thine. So Hezekiak was granted another fifteen years of his life. This work of wonder shows the power of God in heaven as well as on earth, the great notice he takes of prayer, and the great favour he bears to his chosen.
  8. Prayer is the never-failing resource of us,whether we struggle with difficulties or the center of something. At the mercy-seat of our "Almighty Lord",we open our hearts, spread our case, like Hezekiah ,an make our appeal. We have to understand that the glory of God is engaged on our side, faith gains the victory. The best pleas in prayer are taken from God's honour
  9. There are times we take our battles on our own,and we lose. Here,Hezekiah is telling us "The Battle Is The Lord's". We take our eyes off the Lord an we are blind, lost, and running around where to go.We may wish for an instant, miraculious deliverance from our problems, but it doesn't usually happen that way.We have to turned to God for help. God answers our desperate plea and deliver us from our enemies
  10. I accept God in my life and honor his name.My desire should be to see his kingdom established and his will be done on earth, both in my life and in the world general. Matthew 6:9-10. amazing grace how great thou art blessed assurance and many more.
  11. Exalting God through Praise,is when we read His Word, worship Him, fellowship with Him. When we are down,He lifts us up.,He comes to our aid,He heals us. Praising God for what he does for us gives him great joy to know we Exalt Him. God's glory in us is the greatest of all.He came down on earth to save us from our sins. Praising Him is what we owe to Him,and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
  12. Prayer of praise is filled with truth. It reconizes that God is the source of all true success. It gives credit to all greatness, power, glory, victory, and majesty to him.It also reconizes that God is the source of all riches and honor.God is sovereign over everything.
  13. Having a broken heart and spirit is somebody with a sad sinful personality and wants forgiveness. It is essential in prayer to ask God"s forgiveness of our sins committed to God.It is a symbolic offering to our God The Father. The Spirit is a free Spirit a free Agent himself, working freely. The liberty wherewith Jesus Christ makes his people free, which is contrasted with the yoke of bondage. It is the Spirit of adoption spoken to the heart.
  14. It is possible to have a pure heart, and only God could give us that pure heart by trusting the work that Jesus Christ did is the only way to have complete forgiveness,a clear conscience, and eternal life.
  15. David now saw, more than ever, what an unclean heart he had, and sadly regrets it,but he sees it is not in his own power to amend it,and therefore begs God would create in him a clean heart. When the sinner feels this change is necessary, and reads the promise of God to that purpose,he begins to ask it
  16. (Matthew 5:4),Jesus taught that "God blesses those who mourn, for they will be conforted". God isn't looking for evidence of how good we are or how hard we try.He only wants us to mourn over our sins and admit our brokeness. Then he will not ignore our needs but will forgive, comfort, and cleanse us.
  17. Abraham wanted for God to know how much he cares for Lott and his family. He wanted Lott and his family removed from Sodom and Gomorrah before God destroyed the city. That is why Abraham kept on talking to God and reasoning it out with God for Lott and his family sake.
  18. Abraham had trust and faith in God.He knew the Judge of all the earth would do right. God was very pleased with Abraham.Abraham did not plead that the wicked may be spared for their own sake, or because it would be severe to destroy them, but for the sake of the righteous who might be found among them. And righteousness only can be made a plea before God.
  19. Abraham wasn't sure what he could do in this situation he is facing,he wasn't even sure what was right in this situation.God knew Abraham was a modest man and willing and eager to face danger. Abraham talked it over with God,an reasoning it out with God trying to whatever he could for his family.Even when we don't know how much of a change we can or even should make,we can start with Abraham's examples.
  20. Often we are urged to pray for others who have problems and difficulties. We see Abraham pleading God on behalf of Lot and his family. He is deeply concerned for their welfare and speaks for them as he speakes with God. This is similar to what we are ask to do.We are to reach out and help others who are in need.Prayer is a powerful means of doing this.
  21. The words spoken by us is what is essential to prayer. Our prayers makes a difference in what happens.our understanding of prayer will corespond to our understanding of God.We must remember that Jesus was emphasizing to us how to pray, not what to pray.Prayer is not to be offered to impress others, but to only God's will. When God is seen as desiring to bless us, then prayer will be seen as speaking to God.God will respond when we faithfully pray. Prayer will lead to a greater communion with God and a greater understanding of His will.
  22. God gave us a choice of free will.God himself, or Satan. We believed that everything, including every human act is caused by something and that there is no real free will. (WRONG).We were given that free will to obey or disobey. What we have to remember, that God decided at the beginning of time who would go to Heaven after death and who would not. Either we have the Spirit of God living in us or we don't.Can we feel the Spirit of God in us?Sometimes, but we can know he is there whether we feel his presence or not.God has promised to give us the Holy Spirit when we ask.We receiv the same Holy Spirit who raised Jesus Christ from the dead.God will use the same power in us to bring about our recovery. What do I call a belief that our prayers make no difference to God's response? An excuse. If we pray the way Jesus Christ taught us,God will answer our prayers.(Rom.7:7-11)
  23. Moses pleads with God for mercy,he he did not come to make excuses, but to make atonement.Moses reminded God of his Covenant with Abraham,Isaac and Jacob.(EXODUS 32:11-14) Moses could not intirely turn away the wrath of God,which shows us,that the law of moses was not able to reconcile men to God,and to perfect our peace with him. From this history,we see, that no unhumbled, related needs, can no long endure the holy precepts, the humbling truths and spiritual worship of God. In answer to the prayers of Moses God showed his purpose of sparing the people.Glorifying God;s name as it ought to be our first petition and it is so in the Lord's prayer,it ought to be our great plea. And God's promises are to be ourpleas in prayer, for what he has promised he is able to perform.
  24. God was angry, because the Israelites soon forgot God's work.He sees what they cannot discover, nor is any wickedness of the world hid from him.Moses pleads God's glory. In answer to the prayer of Moses, God showed his purpose of sparing the people,as he had before seemed determined on theit destruction, which change of the outward discovery of his purpose.
