Moses rod was a signal pole in dis battle because as long as the rod was raised to God, the Isrealites were winning so it became a source of courage for them because they knew God was with them. Banner was a signal pole. In our every day battle we see the Lord as our signal pole. We look up to him for victory because He is the Lord our banner. We see Him as the Mighty warrior in battle. Since i see Him as my banner, i commit all my problems into His hands knowing fully well that He is the Lord of Victory.

Jesus could not call them because the battle was for HIM to fight alone for the sciptures to be fullfilled. The battle was for the remission of our sins. He was brutalised for me and for you inorder to bring us to God. If HE had sought for help, the scripture would not have been fullfilled.His life was staked for me to live. What a great love HE showed on us. When HE calls on the heavenly host to join HIM in battle, it will be a time of judgement when the supreme power will manifest itself. A time to prove the supremacy of HIS Lordship. Atime when sin will be wiped out from the face of the earth. What a wonderful and glorious time it will be.

Elisha's servant was afraid because while they were in the city of Dothan the king of Aram arrived with his army because they were after Elisha. So in the morning Elisha's servant saw that the city was surrounded with an army horses and chariots. He became afraid because he did not see that they had a greater army than the king of Aram. He did not have the spiritual eyes to see beyond the physical eyes. But Elisha had already seen that the ''those with them are more than those who are with them'' Elisha's spiritual eyes were opened and this marks the difference between him and his servant. For our eyes to be open calls for us to be holy and blameless before our God Almighty. We are suppossed to be pure and righteous. Total obedience to the word of God should be part of us and we should always trust in God. Finally, our relationship with God should be very cordial to the extent that we can here from HIM always. The scripture in 1 john 4:4 strenghtens me in spiritual balltles because i have been assured that WHO IS IN ME IS GREATER THAN THE ONE WHO IS IN THE WORLD. This is encouraging especially when you have full trust and faith in our Almighty God. I see God far above all problems, circumstances and situations.

The Commander had to say that because HE is not the one to be on anybody's side. We are to be on his side. we do not have any choice than just to do that So Israel's army must be enlisted in HIS cause and that is even the reason why HE appeared in the first place. During this encounter Joshua felt the presence of GOD all over him. He reverenced God and after the encounter Joshua was assured that victory was theirs. He became bold and strong because already the assurance has been given to him by the Commander as we can see in Joshua 1:9 ''Have i not commanded you, be strong and courageous.Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go'' That is enough assurance. May the name of Yahweh-Sabaoth be praised forever.Amen.

These titles reveals the supremacy of God over other gods and all created things It shows that God is head over all things. And as we behold HIM, We move from glory to glory because HIS glory spills over unto us. Am so joyous to know that there is none that is above GOD. The King and the Father of Glory. May HIS name be glorified in Jesus name.

God is seen as the High and Exalted one, One that is above all the earth, above all other gods.With this description of God, I put my whole trust in HIM knowing fully well that there is no one that is higher than HIM. HE is a God that can do all things. A God that abodes in heaven and uses the earth as HIS footstool. MAY HIS NAME BE GLORIFIED
