To rest in God means seeking God and beleiving Him completely and waiting on Him if faith. It is compelete trust in the Heavenly father which will give me rest. When I know God will act on my behalf I cast all my cares on Him and choose to rest. I rest by taking refuge in His word. I choose to take rest early in the morning by coming into His presence in prayer. I take rest by singing songs of praise and thanks all through the day. I continually pray and seek the face of the Lord. I seek Him and only Him and go no where else. I am calm knowing fully well that God will do exceedingly abundantly more than I have asked or imagined. I serve and awesome God who will never forsake me or fail me. Great promises are made by Him for me in His word. I read those promises and take complete rest. Every day i begin the day by praising with the Praise Scriptures. As soon as I am awake I say "Give thanks to the Lord .for he is good his love endures for ever! Giving thanks to the Lord as I rise fills me with new strength,grace and peace and hope that I can handle the day well. I seek God in prayer by singing,worshipping and reading his word. This stills my soul and I see the Lord annointing me with this spirit of peace. I have chosen the Bible study as a tool to dwell in the word of God ,rather than give my mind time to be troubled. Reading Psalms has given me great great peace these days. I speak to my sisters who love the Lord and they offer me a word of peace and inspire me to pray . I hold on to the Lord ... and ask of His peace to reign in my heart. Seeking god above all things is the practice I have started in my life and Yes God is good .. He is filling me with peace that know man can give. John14:27 He says,Peace I leave with you,my peace I give you, I do not give as the world gives.Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. This prayer of peace was given to us in our worship meeting a week ago. I keep reading this word and it God has given me peaceand rest to my soul Alleluia .Praise God!

In Psalm 46 :4 the image of a river and a stream signifies peace in the midst of a trial. It reveals that God is able to give us great peace despite the turmoil. God is in control of our lives and He can and He is able to deliver us out from any trouble. It signfies the calm sweet presence of God when we dwell in Him. The river also is the Spirit of God in us which flows in us giving us peace. It is rest for the soul though we are physically weary. The verse Be still and know that I am God is a word of command form the Lord. When we sail through the troubled waters the Lord comes and commands Peace and asks us to be still. There is nothing we can do but put ourselves in the arms of our Father who asks us to be still and know that He is our God our Maker our Helper and He will take charge . This word brings great calm and peace to my mind right now .. that God is mighty and able .. All i have to do is trust Him and praise and worship Him. i am able to rest in the presence of God by thanking and praising Him. Because of this assurance I am at peace,my soul is at rest and I can speak words of peace to others too. God commands us to be still because He is God and He will deliver me out of every trouble when I seek Him with all my heart

By saying "Into your hands I commit my spirit" we completely entrust ourselves in the hands of God. Its a prayer of total surrender to the will if God. It is asking God to take charge of my mind body and soul. Once we have a profound relationship with the Lord, I commit my life into His hands. There is nothing that I can do in my strength but I can do all things when Christ is in me. This is a prayer of deep faith and trust in God Almighty to lead my life. Its the same prayer that Jesus made while he died on the cross. He gave up himself into the hands of his Father. This prayer certainly brings a deep peace within to know that we have a mighty God whom we can run to at all times and cast our cares upon Him. When faced with day to day trials and I can do nothing in my strength, this prayer brings confidence that God will take care of me and see me through every difficulty. When i commit into his hands He will make the impossible possible. My times are in your hands Ps 31:15 God has ordained all the days of my life. He is my maker and creator and He knows all. Whatever times I am facing both good and bad I surrender in the hands of God knowing well that He is in perfect control. By saying this verse ,my heart is a t peace to know that God is my deliverer and he alone can rescue me at all times. It s again putting myself in the hands of God and waiting on Him in prayer. These two verses are prayers of trust in God .

Psalm 23 is a psalm which gives peace and confidence to a believer. It is great great Psalm which assures us the the Good Shepherd is the one who leads our life. As we hear the voice of the Good shepherd he knows us too. The entire psalm pictures what a goos shepherd does for his sheep. The Lord Jesus is our shepherd and we are the sheep of his pasture He fills us with amazing peace and confidence when we are under his care. Its a delight to know that the Lord does the same things as the shepherd . When the Lord is my shepherd .. I am not in any want. He is the ones who provides all that I need. He gives me rest in his presence. When I constantly live under his presence he leads meto green pastures. He makes me rest and lie down in green pastures of hope and love. He loves me and gives me peace which no man can give. He takes me to pools of fresh water. He annoints me with his Holy spirit and refreshes my thirsty soul. When I see great darkness of trials around me.. I am not afraid because the Lord will lead me safely holding his rod and staff. He will fight every enemy and lead me through the valley of darkness. I am assured that I am taken safely out ... He prepares a table of abundance and prosperity in my life. He prospers all the areas of my life . I am a healthy sheep feasting at His table.. My enemies shall see the goodness that the good Lord is lavishing upon me. I am treated as a honored guest... where he fills my life with ovwerflowing goodness. Surely I am aasured that His mercy and goodness shall follow me the entire period of my life. No enemy can pursue me but only the goodness of the Lord shall take over.. The Good shepherd therefore is my Provider Healer Leader guiding me in the right paths Restorer.. as he fills me with strength when I am weak Comforter who sees me through valleys of darkness and fear. Wonderful Host who delights in me honoring me with good things. I can quietly rest each day of my life ..in his glorious presence. When He is the leader.. I shall not perish but live..because He has died for me, He has laid down his life for me. He is the shepherd of my soul.. to whom I give control. Wherever He may lead I shall follow..I have made the choice.. to listen to His voice.. wherever he may lead I will go... What a awesome God we serve!

Psalm 131 is a short psalm but has a great lesson it . David comes before the Lord with simple faith, trst and humility. He humbles before his Yahweh God completely . He comes with a attitude of total surrender of his life to God. David says he is not proud,nor has a haughty look,but comes himself totally empty before his God. He allows God to take complete control as he does not worry himself about the matters he cannot handle. Instead he casts his cares on the Lord and keeps his inner self calm and quiets his soul in the presence of God. He rests in the arms of God like a weaned child. A weaned child is hurt and goes through pain when it is weaned off from his mother,yet slowly it gets used to and takes solid food in the days to come. The weaned child yet finds great comfort in the mother's arms. The weaned child does cry a lot when weaned but then still holds on to the mother and finds his strength at this time in his mother. Trusting his mother the baby moves on and grows on solid food. Similarly David feels the same like a weaned child. God has weaned him from all things not needed and he feels the pain of weaning. Yet with a humble heart he rests in the arms of his God and stills his soul from all anxieities. Its such a inspiration to know that David calms himself and calls upon the people of Israel to put thier hope in the Lord. His humility gives him peace and hope in the Lord ..He finds delight in his Yahweh God and simply entrusts everything to Him The elements of child like faith,humility,trust seeking God at all times is containedin the Psalm. David shows us when we go to God we decrease and He increases. We must lean on God like a weaned child.. and He will give us strength to go through thre process of pain for a higher calling of our lives... Praise God! I am nothing in front of God but he does make something beautiful out of me!

The Psalms of lesson 6 were strengthening to the spirit. I read psalm 121 and memorised it with my children and we say it daily. As a exercise, started to read more psalms and memorise them.

Troubles come both to the righteous and the wicked. But the good Lord delivers the righteous from them all. Yes as believers we may not have a trouble free life in this world. But we will be delivered and rescued from them in a different way than if the others would have to face the same trial. God is a good God and watches over all our ways. He is not a man that he should lie. Heaven and earth shall pass away but his words shall never fail. God has given us great promises of safety and deliverance in His word and we specially see that in Psalm 91. When i am faced with dangers, I can confidently run to Him and place my trust in Him and He will deliver me out of the trouble. I may walk through the valley of dangers,but I shall not fear because He is with me. He will supply us enough grace to walk through any danger and He will see us through . This is my faith and trust in God. No matter what i may have to face,He shall never leave me or forsake me. Some believers dont seem to be protected simply because they fail to trust God when trouble comes. It is a natural tendency to blame God .. Most of the time we may face dangers because of our own plans. If i am firmly rooted in the love of God I can just assure myself of his protection and love. Instead of running away from God , we must read his word of promise in times of trouble ,Hold on to Him and I am sure he will deliver us all! Yes God really protects us from every trouble. I know this because I have experienced his protection over me and my family many many times. We have walked through difficlties and dangers but as we have held him close in those moments ,He has miraculously delivered us Praise God!

Psalm 121 is a great inspiration in times of need. It reassures the love of God .. It is a reminder of God's promise of love to His people. When we have no help coming I can be assured and say My help is in the name of the Lord,my Maker and Maker of Heaven and earth. When i about to slip and fall,I assure myself saying ..God will not allow my foot to slip! When I am anxious and worried,I assure myself saying..God is watching me..He is watching over every detail of my life. Though I may sleep He will not sleep but watch me all through the night or dark hours of my life, Yes when the heat is scorching all around me,the good Lord will be like a shade of his presence over me. In times of danger, he will keep me safe. My coming and going is also noticed by him Nothing shall harm me. This is psalm of Gods assurance of love,protection,blessing for us. Psalm 121 fills me with great strength and courage to move in my daily life. However life may seem to be I am comforted to know that my good God is intrested in me and every detail of my life. He watches over me and I can be assured that He is in perfect contro of everything. Praise God.

Psalm 91 is a wonderful psalm which contains great promise of safety, help and protection of God to those who trust in Him. Psalm 91 is like a insurance cover from God if you live by his word here on earth. It gives you a gurantee that you are 100% protected against all evil. God is our source of life and existence here on earth. When we give God the first place in our lives, dwell in his presence daily in worship and prayer then God promises to keep us safe in times of danger. When I abide in God and He in me.He will protect me from all hidden dangers and deadly diseases.He will cover me with his wings and I am safe.He will protect me from the dangers at night or day. He will protect me from every harm and evil. When I live a life pleasing to the Lord God,His protection is guaranteed for me and my family . He shall protect me from every disease,accident,misfortune etc.When I walk in the right paths He watches over all my ways I shall fear nothing because his faithfulness shall defend and protect me. When we have a strong relationship with our God,He gives us authority to fight our enemies. We can trample down under our feet the deadly lions and the serpents . Through the annointing grace of God, we can stand against the enemy. We can fight out anything by the power of His word. No weapon shall prosper . I can put on the full armor of God and I can protect myself against the enemy. Psalm 91 is a psalm full of promises of God to those who take refuge in Him and live a life obedient to Him. It contains the following promises Safety from hidden dangers,diseases,attacks,violence calamities etc. Angels are dispatched from Heaven concerning us. God will position angels to walk with us and protect us from all harm .Our feet will shall not strike against the stones. The punsihment will go to the wicked but not the righteous. God will protect us though thousands may perish around us at the face of any calamity. Disasters and violence will not come near my dwelling God will save us and protect me when I acknowledge Him as my God. He will answer me when I call on His name He will cover me under his mighty wings of love . He will honor us. He shall increase the days of our life and give us long satisfying life because I love him. Psalm 91 increases my faith and trust in God everytime i say it aloud. We have been reciting this psalm in our family for many many years now day and night and I stand witness to the protection of God promised here over my life. He has kept me and my family safe from every danger and angels have protected us from dashing against any stone. When we dwell in his house,constantly praying, seeking him and doing his will,surely the good Lord has honored us. He has kept our home safe from violence and answered us in times of trouble. Psalm 91 is a psalm with which i communicate to my God daily. He reminds me what he has for me when i trust in his unfailing love for me. Like David I run to god with hope that he will answer me when I cry out to Him.

David shows us an image of God as a rock,a high tower and the only refuge who can deliver us from the enemies. As David is going through a very difficult time in his life,he is tired and weary and his heart is fainting due to the overwhelming trouble around his life. At this point he makes a cry to the Lord. David knows he cannot do anything absolutely nothing in his own strength. But he surely knows through his trust in God that He can go to God and find comfort in Him. Therefore a tired ,weak and weary David stretches his hands towards his God and says You are my refuge,you are like a strong tower,I will hide inside your wings. Just like those small little baby birds who hide under the mighty wings of their mother,in times of wind and storm,so does David want to hide under the shadow of the Almighty God. Ohh this psalm is ministering to my troubled soul right now. I am weary and feel like fainting in my heart. Like David I am crying to the Lord .. Lord I have none to turn to right now. I know now you alone are my refuge ,a High tower a rock on whom I can stand! I am taking refuge in my own comfort zone ,but lead me much higher than these places that I take refuge and save me and res cue me. You Lord are the One who is able .. till the storm of life passes away i will hide in your presence. Lord i will dwell only in your presence and your word. If i step out Lord out of your presence,I feel alone and weak. But Lord i will put my hope in you and praise you for you alone are my Rock and Redeemer.

I am meditating on the psalms of this lesson. Made it a practice now to read them and memorised Psalm 1 . Made my children learn psalm 1 too. Praying the psalm in song. whenver i need strength from God i read the pslams we have covered in our lessons aloud. ecnouraging my family members to read the psalms and praying the psalms with my friends too.

Loving Father, I come to you standing in the need of your love mercy and grace upon my life. Father I thank you for finding me when I was lost and went astray. I have now come to you knowing well there is none other than you Father who is with me at all time. I praise you O my God, because you are my Maker and Creator. You have fearfully and wonderfully made me and made me liitle lower than the heavenly beings.How precious are your thoughts to me O my God! I pray to you to fill me with your Spirit and revive my drooping Spirit When the waters engulf me and I feel I am sinking in the miry depths ,answer me and rescue me .Answer me O lord,out of the goodness of your love . Restore me O God,and make your face shine upon me. Do not withhold your mercy from me but may your love and turth protect me. I will proclaim your love and goodness to all around me. I am poor and needy ,You are my help and deliverer. O God do not delay to help me. I will put my hope in you . Your are my rock and redeemer. Lead me O God in the way everlasting . Amen The elements that are required for personal or congregational revival Humility Repentance Faith A broken and a contrite heart. An attitude of praise Surrendering oneself to the will of God Recognition of our faults and confessing them. Responsibility of our actions without blaming others 2 Chronicles puts down the above elements of humility , forsaking evil ways and seeking the face of God to bring about revival in our life. When icome before the loving God forsaking my old ways repent of them , humble myself and seek Him in truth , I am revived.

In psalm 40:17 David first acnowledges his nothingness before God. He was a great King of his time. But he has the humility and acknowledges before God that he is poor and a needy man. David humbles himself before His God and knows that only God is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and he is able to do all things. It is not man 's worthiness that brings us before God, but the love of God which redeems us from our sins. David does not walk around free after he has sinned,but in all humility falls on his knees and asks God the Father to help him. It is his strong faith in God makes him run towards him. David knew his God well too well . He would have eariler episodes where he has confessed his sins and God delivered him. He always trusted God to do everything for Him. he never relied on his strength to do anything. He remembers his God and so keeps his faith and even though its tough on Him he walks towards God in faith knowing fully well that his Faith will reward him You need absolute faith to run to God to know he can work in our lives and also at the same time go to Him with humility to tell him that we are nothing and He is my everything. You need both these qualities to stand before God and get prayers answered

It is with great joy I respond to this question. When i am now aware that God's thoughts and plans are towards me I am filled with great joy hope and confidence in HIm. This awesome thought that God has a plan for me a good plan and purpose makes me fly like an eagle and run like a deer. I know that now whatever I may face in life my Father God is in perfect control. Even if I have failures regrets and hurts my good God will trun all for my own good. To know such a mighty God loves me cares for me and has plans directed towards me I can cast all my cares on Him and leap with joy. This makes me aware that God will never leave me or forsake me. He is my defender Creator and everything to me. I surrender my life into his hands and will allow Him to take charge for my God will lead me to the right paths and shall always bring out great good in my life

Though David suffered shame and anguish after such a sin if his life , he knew that if he hoped in his Father God all would be well. He laments and cries for help before God to rescue him. David was a singer and always sang cheerful praises to God. Now after all the crying he put his hope once again and rises up to praise God rather than dwell in misery and sorrow. This psalm encourages us to sing and praise God even though we have failed him and have no strength to return to Him. We must not go about mourning with guilt and shame,instead turn to God ask his forgiveness and praise Him and wait on Him. OH. i love to praise God in songs ! Praise is the language of God and his angels. God dwells in our praises .It is the language of love that i communicate with my God. God is glad when we praise him even in the midst of sin and trial. Therefore even in the most desperatge situation of our life when we turn our language of sadness into praise it will change all things. Praise offered as a sacrifice brings victory amidst defeat. Praise gives us the grace to worship the Father and once again get back into his kingdom. Praise overcomes any obstacle ,brreaks every mountain and gives us hope beyond hope.

David was a man who loved God walked with God and he was known as a man after God's own heart!. He had a close relationship with his Father God and also experienced the love and faithfulness of God in his own life. He knew God well. After he commits one of the worst sins of his life he becomes helpless guilty and ashamed. He finds no one to go to nor anyone who could bring him out of such condemnation. Now he remembers that God alone is able to help him in his fallen state of sin. He knows that God can still redeem Him and save him. Therefore this faith and trust in yahweh God leads him to go once again and plead mercy before his God. David knew that God is still a God of love and compassion and he dared to go before Him even after he commited such an act. God's grace and mercy alone is able to blot out our sins too. Whenever we go against God and sin, we get into guilt and condemnation. We may not be able to meet God or dwell in his presence. But if take a step and remember God i s not a man but God is God on his throne waiting for us to retrun and not to sin anymore,His mercy and grace shall fall upon us and we will be redeemed from every sin.God's grace and mercy is upon a repentant heart.

Every week I read the psalms of all the lessons we have done. Try to meditate on them and remember the teachings we have got through this Psalm. All these Psalms have given me strength to praise God and rememeber then when I am faced with any trouble. I pray theses psalms with my family and friends too. I am praising God aloud with a joyful noise with praise hymns daily. I acknowledge my faults before the Lord my God and with David I say, Search me O God and know my anxious thoughts see if there is any offensive way in me and lead me to the life everlasting. I keep reminding myself the various psalm until now and Yes the word of God is like a double edged sword in my hand

Psalm 98 puts down reasons to praise our God because it says God has done marvellous things. The marvellous things are the salvation of God, the saving grace of our God to the nations and the house of Israel. The Lord our God has shows his love and faithfulness not only to the house of Israel but the ends of the earth or the entire human race has witnessed his saving grace. Praise is so exuberant beacuse it shows us that the mighty hand of God has worked wonders and miracles and there is victory in the name of the Lord. It makes one rise up and offer praise with music and song. Praise is so exuberant because God is loving kind and faithful who gives victory to his people. He cares for us ,he loves us He is a righteous judge who will judge each one of us according to our ways. He will defend us protect us and prosper us when we chose to walk in the right paths. In my walk with him walking a righteous walk, though I may feel the pain of taking the path that pleases the Lord he will be a righteous God judging in my favour and blessing me for I have chosen to walk in his path. Therefore God deserves our praise for He is all loving and faithful Presently we fellowship in a meeting which offers high praises to our God. We make praise very very exuberant by singing songs aloud with music and joy in our hearts. Even the smallest infant in our meeting dances and sings to the Lord . We spend quality time singing beautiful songs of praise and worship Praise has become the essence of my life. I praise God several times using the praise scriptures and we I chose to praise with my family and friends. When i am faced with the thought of loss failure discouragement I choose the praise aloud . I chose not to sit in the pit but somehow rise up and sing worship and praise aloud... It definetley has become a great weapon of personal victory. Alleluia praise the lord!

Praise and worship is the highest honor we can render to our God. Psalm 95 praticularly commands us to worship the Lord. It invites us to sing shout aloud and come before the Lord with thanksgiving making melody with music and song. We worship our God because he is our Creator and our Maker. He is above everything and he is great and mighty God. Everything on earth is created by his hand. The deepest sea, and the highest mounatain peak was formed by his hand! Oh we need to kneel down before our Maker because He is our God who desrves our worship. We are his people his creation, a flock under his care. We need to honor praise and worship such a mighty God who is our everything. The warning in vs 8 to 11 are included to show us that when we honor our God with praise worship making music and melody we also need to be submissive and obedient to his will in our lives. Its not enough we just give him honor with our lips but we truly truly worship him with our lives and actions which match our worship. The Israelites lost the promise though they saw mighty miracles from God because they hardened their hearts against the Lord and started grumbling and murmuring. This brought God's wrath on them. It shows that worship must include a life which is pleasing in the sight of God ..which bows down to the will of the Father in Heaven. When we praise and worship with a sincere heart our lives and hearts remain open for God to work in our lives. We must honor our Father by surrendering our lives in his hands however tough it may seem Presently I am understanding this psalm well because the situations in my life have caused me to sit at the Lord's feet and worship Him. I have no clue as to how life would turn but I am trying to put the worship in practice by just obeying his will

Psalm 150 is a psalm which calls all believers to praise our Father in Heaven. It is fitting to praise the lord at all times. As the Psalmist says I will extol thee O lord at all times,your praise shall be continually in my mouth. We are called to praise our God for he is our creator. We need to praise him for his mighty acts of power and His surpassing greatness. Praise occurs in his sanctuary. When i dwell in the house of the Lord coming before him in worship,I am able to offer high praises to the King of Kings. Praise can be condcuted with the musical instruments like trumpet, harp,lyre tambourines and flutes. I can praise God with songs and music and use the present day instruments like guitar ,keyboard etc and make a joyful noise and praise the Lord. Psalm 150 shows us that all who have breath must praise the Lord. It shows us that all creatures who have life must praise God. Psalm 150 shows me how important it is to shout praises to our God. It makes me repeat this Psalm several times aloud because God dwells in the praises of his people. When we praise we are thankful people and anything around me will change when I offer a sacrifice a praise to the Lord. When i go through the toughest days I just uses the scriptures of praise and I see the presence of God taking over the situation and I am at peace with myself. Psalm 150 indeed makes me shout it aloud because I have experienced the power of praising God

Studying the psalms of Lesson 3 have given me the grace to exercise some of the instructions given in Psalm 15. I have made a reflection of my own life and how I have followed these insgtrctions. Again and again I read Psalm 1 which shows us the paths the righteous take and the great reward that comes in walking a bleameless life. I read aloud the psalms in my prayer and called my friends and meditated on these psalms. Also tried to understand a deeper meaning of the psalms by making a study on them. Sang and learnt several hymns containing the verses of the psalms we have already learnt. I am trying to stay in unity with all around me and avoiding gossip in my mouth. Psalm 15 is a eyeopener to me and I am trying to live it this week! God bless all who are doing this study

This short psalm attracts me to the beauty and joy that comes when brothers live together in unity! It may be our biological brothers and sisters and our brothers and sisters in the Lord. When there is a spirit of unity it is very pleasant . This unity is compared to the sweet annointing oil which was used to annoint Aaron and the dew which falls on Mount hermon and Zion. The fragrance of the oil and the moistness of the dew both bring about a freshness on man and nature. when dew falls on the plants they grow. Similarly when brothers and sisters dwell in unity, there is a fresh breath of the Holy spirit which brings about growth and prosperity in our lives. Dwelling together is difficult for the very fact that God has created each person different. Each person has his own personality and character his oipinions . Each one has thier own thinking too. Therefore remaining united on all things and matters becomes difficult unless you dwell in the house of the Lord. To have a spirit of unity amongst us we have to have certain commitments. They include praising and thanking God each day, spending time in prayer, reading the word of God,practising the word of God etc. Only when we abide in the Lord and He in us we will have the grace to overcome all barriers and remain in unity. The spirit of unity and purity can conflict with each other. One has to remain pure and holy before God to remain united . You cannot be a person who ca n unite with others if you do not lead a pure life before the Lord. The essence of the Lords teachings are Love and forgiveness. If i do not love my brother as he is or have anything against him,I leave all at the altar and go back make peace and then I go to the Lord.In every teaching the Lord has given us through his word he speaks about brotherly love and unity. In his prayer he has shown us that we will be forgiven only when we forgive our brothers. The kingdom of God belongs to those who are pure in heart and show mercy to others. Only when we follow the commandments of Jesus to love and forgive we can dwell in unity.

Psalm 15 is an excellent guide which gives us instructions to us and our children. As a parent I have to first know the Lord, walk in his ways and know what are the good ways the Lord expects of me. Once I understand and walk the right way only then I am able to pass it on to my children . I have to dwell in the house of the Lord and then follow these instructions and give it to my children. The instructions i can pass on from reading the Psalm are Have a right walk with God by dwelling in his presence. Read the word of God. Always speak the truth .. Do not speak bad about others. Do no harm or wrong to my neighbors Cast no slurs on my fellowmen Do not keep the company of vile men Keep an promise made even if it proves very costly or it hurts. Do not take undue advantage of a poor man by lending and charging intrests or make use of his weakness If i am called to serve the innocent and needy i do it without accepting bribe on its b ehalf And yes when I do such things I will never be shaken Lord help me to obey your word and follow your instructions I will make sure to obey the word and also strive to teach my children all the godly vlaues. I talk to them about the Lord, teach them the importance of the word of God, help them pray and learn the scriptures,take them for worship and make them understand the word of God. I try with the grace of God to lead a godly life and keep talking about our Christian lives and stand uncompromised with the word of God. Yes its a narrow path at times,but gods grace they do understand and are also witnessing the grace of God in their lives The psalm covers all aspects of right living. It begins saying who can dwell in the sanctuary of the Lord?? It shows us the way to go to the Lord and dwell in his house by obeying all the ways listed out here. A blamless walk of truth honesty kindness sincerity and integrity is acceptable to the Lord. It does cover alll that is needed to walk the right walk with the Lord. Thank you Lord..

Psalm 1 is a wisdom psalm teaching us about two sets of people and two paths we can chose to take.We need constant reminders in our Christian life about the ways of the Lord.In our christian walk we need to keep reminding the ways we need to chose to be righteous. Pslam 1therefore is a reminder telling us that the blessings we have by chosing to walk in the right paths. It is a motivating Psalm when we feel weak .We would not find any support when we chose to be righteous,but the Lord watches over us. This is a blessed assurance. We need to tell ourselves though the path we chose is narrow and very difficult to walk on there is a great reward that comes form the Lord by following it. We are blessed because the Lord will watch over us always. Though we may face trials and temptations the Lord's right hand will uphold us because we chose to obey his word and walk the right way. Oh we will be fruiful people,bearing fruit at the right time because we chose to abide in the word of the Lord. We will not be withering with difficulties of life but we will be prospering in all that we do.Our lives will be always yeilding fruit and we look like those green leaves of a tree which is planted by the streams of the water. All these promises are to be remembered whenever it becomes difficult to obey the Lord or chose the right ways in this tough world. From an emotional point of view I liked the entire psalm so much which holds a blessing of prosperity for us if we chose the right ways. The verse which says I will prosper touched my heart. Right now i am certainly doing some things which are not so easy to do,but with the grace of the Lord I am striving to delight in the Lord and walk a right walk. This word greatly encourages me that I will prosper no matter what. Secondly the promise of the Lord that he will watch over the righteous is a tremendous encouragement for me. When i chose to say no to the ways of the world and also do my best to make my family take the right ways I am confident my Lord will watch me over 24/7 Indeed I shall have victory when I have done my narrow walk trusting the Lord! I am called Blessed because i do not join the ways of the wicked nor have to do anything with them,but I constantly abide in the Lord. Psalm 1 has delighted my heart to know that God is watching over me !

Praise God! The second lesson on Psalms have given me great encouragement to know that even if moments of trouble when we chose to praise God we will see his goodness. Alleluia1 I have meditated on the Psalms of the lessn 1 along with lesson 2. Made a prayer with Psalm 27 in our worship meeting. Read aloud the psalms to my friend in need. I have sung Psalms with my sister who is also doing this lesson. We have prayed these psalms together. I have taken Psalm 139:23-24 as a prayer for the week I remind myself the verses of Psalm 42 and 43. Why are you downcast my soul??? Hope in the Lord. I repeat this verse many a times during the day.
