God said he would be with Gideon at all times and they would win the battle. We should know that God is also with us He said in several places He would be with us even to the ends. God said He will never leave nor forsake us, this means He will always be with us to me. Our prayer should be: God thank you for Your unfailing Word and promises thank your for your continued presence with me. Continued presence with me. May You help me to always realize that You will always be with me no matter what. God also help each of to see ourselves and what we can do to advance Your kingdom through Your eyes we would certainly have a different view. Amen

they refused to help out of fear of the enemy, aren't we sometimess just like this we are afraid to get involved to help someone even when we know they are right. But Gideon said he would return to punish them, I want to say hurray for him because he finally found a backbone, but it is not our place to punish anyone or to judge whethr they are right or wrong. This is the job of the Great Judge Christ himself. A lot of people are quick to judge another and two wrongs certainly don't make it right.

God saw him as being a mighty warrior and strong, while Gideon saw his family and himself as being very weak and he the weakest of the whole bunch. God looks at us through His eyes and He sees what He created the beginning and the end, we tend to see ourselves through our own eyes or what others have said to us or about us and are so quick to jude ouirselves by our standards not God's. We are very limited by our own eye sight but with God's eye sight there are no limits, we need to view the world and ourselves with the eyes of our Savior.

They worshipped other gods instead of the one true God and we sometimes today as I said before place other things before the one true God and trust in other things but we must be obedient and trust in Him totally to provide and lead us.

I believe that Gideon feels less of a person and sometimes we all feel this way we never see oueselves like the Lord sees us. I think he blames God for the way they are having to live fearful of the people in the land and we to sometimes blame God for our own ways, it is obvious that they had been worshiping other gods, like us to we put other things before our trust aand obedience in God and we have to pay the consequences, But God told Gideon as His word has told us He is with us at all times and our strength is in Him. I have been tried in this very situation this very day. And God's way prevailed praise be to God all Mighty He is faithful of His Word.

Hello My name is Jeanne M. I am a newbie, I am learning so much about our Father and it is so wonderful to be a King's kid. I am a registered nurse that works with substance abuse patients so I need to learn as much about our Father as possible in order to help my patients I pray every morning that God will put the one in my path He wants me to talk to and to give me the words to say to hurting souls in hopes to bring them to His saving grace and mercy.
