  1. Ps 150 speaks of praising God, it teaches us that we have all the reason to praise God, he is our creator and we need to praise him for this creation of his, the whole earth was created by him his works are praise worthy, his faithfulness in our lives is to be praised, his mighty deeds are to be praised. When we praise God and worship him we and get lost completely in his presence every being of ours praises, it is this type of praise that the psalmist wants to offer to God, every vessel in our body, every bone of our body praises God for his love , his faithfulness his acts of power, his surpassing greatness. When we experience that joy while we praise and worship him we rejoice like David dancing and making music to him with our praises that make a sweet sound in his ears. Verse 6 means our inmost being praise the Lord. This psalm makes me feel when i praise God my inmost being should rejoice and the praises of mouth should be such that when God hears them they are pleasing to him, and they are not just word or mere songs that i sing to him, rejoicing i must praise & worship him.
  2. Ps 133 tells us how good it is to live in unity this means when we children of God are guided by his spirit , we live in unity following the ways of God, when the spirit of God guides us there is no conflict in our ways , we live in unity when we live in unity God is pleased and he pour out his blessing on this, living in a community we have to live and be led by the spirit of God which helps us grow with each other. Jesus asks us to love one another as he loves us, because we are all made in the likeness of God , so we have to love each other with the love we carry for God. Here the oil and dew refers to God's presence dwelling amongst us which gives us a feeling of the fresh dew , the freshness of the expensive oils when poured on he head to give the soothing feeling. Hence we all have to live in unity that when God looks at us living in his unity he is pleased and we are all blessed.
  3. Ps 15 gives an answer to all who are seeking God's presence , God's presence is experienced only by the man who walks in God's ways, when he follows the word of God in all he/she does, and when we follow the word of God we take the right path, we fear him in all our ways this helps us to come with a pure heart in his presence. We keep away from all the wrong things. We are living in world where we have a lot of people who follow the ways of the unrighteous ways, I will use this psalm to keep my ways pleasing to God and be an instrument to be used by him to be a blessing in his kingdom and my family, and when i choose to walk according to his word and dwell in his sanctuary make my ways and myself holy to stand on his holy hill i will be able to pass on the same to my children. And i pray for this grace to be a blessing in his kingdom & my family.
  4. Ps 1 talks about being righteous & unrighteous, It shows us how the righteous take the narrow path and the unrighteous take the broad path but the psalm also says the blessing of the Lord come only on the ones who take the narrow path, who obey his laws , i.e. his word , God's word is very clear about being right in God's eye, when we are right are paths are right in God's eyes God watches over us, he protects are ways , but when we do not walk in his ways he does not like to watch our paths because each time he sees that a path unpleasing to him is taken he is hurt, God never deviates from his word, he cannot watch over us as when are ways are displeasing to him. This happens when are relationship with God is not strong, and to make it strong we always need to be in his presence, we have to constantly keep praising him and worshipping him, i.e. when walking in his ways becomes easy and our ways are pleasing to him, i.e. when he pours out his spirit on us as he watches are ways are right and his spirit guides every path of ours. Verse 1 gives me the confidence that as i am walking in God's ways and as i choose ways pleasing to him i am blessed and i see that everytime, and when i see people around me who are not righteous i get even more confident with this verse.
  5. Love is always the basis of faith, and where there is faith there is always love, when i love my parents if trust them completely , i am confident of their every act, faith is the confidence we have , when we love our Loving father in heaven we trust him completely and our confidence in him is immense we know is he is control of everything. This confidence and faith is built only when i has love for another. In Ps. 63 David's confidence in God is immense because of his love for God, he trust's God completely , he is confident God will rescue him from all the situations around him, he is confident whatever his enemies try they will not succeed because God's love him and he will never allow David to be overtaken by his enemies. His this trust and faith in God is so strong that is what he means when he says mu soul clings to you, his inmost being, his mind his intellect he does not allow to move away from God's presence and love. This realization that God's loves me gives me the confidence to run back to my father in heaven each time in need, also when i experience joy or when my prayers are answered and i run back to him to share this joy my happiness doubles up in his presence.Because God loved me first so i love him and this love gives me the confidence and increases my faith in God and his word.
  6. In this psalm , David feels the urgent need to get into the presence of the Lord, but the situations around him are oppressing him and he has to make a desperate effort to do so. He is unable to get into the presence and has to make a deliberate effort to break through the situation he is facing and seek God's face, i.e. his presence. Because he is unable to feel the presence of God he can feel the heat like that of the desert and thirst that the dryness of the desert gives. He compares himself like a deer which runs from far and comes panting for water. There are many times when i too face such situations which try to dominate my mind and i have to make a deliberate effort to praise & worship God, and seek him in his sanctuary. It is at these times when are soul try its level best to push back all things that hold us and seek God's presence. Seeking God's presence and experiencing it means when you feel the closeness and some sort of assurance from God that he is around with you, he is with you.
  7. This psalm tells us David has experienced the Lord's presence and continued to do the same, he loved that feeling and that time that he would be in the presence of the Lord. when we like some place or a certain type of atmosphere mostly when we a searching for some rest we love some places that we are all by ourselves, we search for peace that calmness, that is what David found in the presence of the Lord, he just wants to dwell in God's presence he is enjoying being all by himself with God's presence. He wants to continue worshiping and experience God's presence more and more, because in God's presence every thought of his mind is clear and he is taking pleasure of the surrounding that is created while he is worshiping ,he is enjoying the holy presence God and is very eager to see his face, i.e. to know God even more closely, here God instructing his heart. This psalm also reveals the confidence and trust David had in God, that whatever be the circumstance he trusted God blindly and he knew come what may God will rescue him of that situation. He is confident each time he calls on God , God will answer him, and God answers only when we live in accordance to his word, and so David also pleads of God to give him the grace and never let him falter so that when he calls upon God , God listens to him and answers him.
  8. Psalm 139 shows the confidence and trust David had in God, he trusted him so much that he knew where ever he goes what ever be the situation God is with him, this hows the relation he developed with God to place all his trust completely. He humble himself before God because he knows God is his creator and he is his handmade, and so God knows him in and out so there is nothing that he can hide from God, even the darkness is nothing because even darkness was God's creation and when he commands it will obey. He knows God is in complete control of his life being his creator. David's love for God is so much that he gets very emotional he talks about things that are not pleasing to God which makes a person Gods enemy, he hates those feelings and things which take him away from God's presence. He makes a prayer to Yahweh God to search him inside and outside if he has anything that is not pleasing to God and to him and to work on him more , to prune him that he bears good fruit to his creator.
  9. Verses 1-6 talks about the beauty of the creation by our creator, it were his words he spoke and the whole universe was created, which is so beautiful, here the psalmist is enjoying the beauty of the creation, from verses 7-13 it is the word of God again that the psalmist refers to that gives him the same rather much more joy when he listens and obeys the word of God, which God has commanded, because when God speaks to us and we listen to him he renews us a afresh in every area of our life to make it as beautiful as the work of his hands. In this psalm David is enjoying praising the Lord and he is so lost as he is praising God that he feels everything around him is nothings, he finds gold also less compared to that feeling of God's presence & Gods word much pure and sweeter than honey which is suppose to be pure & sweet . David is thoroughly enjoying praising God and while he is enjoying the beauty of God's creation & his presence he gets conscious of himself being very small compared to God,he realises he is only a simple creation of God and God is so mighty,. He is enjoying this joyous feeling and does not want to loose this experience so he wants God to help him to be on Guard that unknowingly also he would not fall into sin. In verse 14 Davids has understood what God wants of him and so he makes a prayer to God asking him to give him the grace to speak words that are pleasing to God and the when he mediates (praises & worships God) to experience him, cause only when God is pleased does he communicate to anyone who calls on him.
  10. Pslam 8 Our God is an awesome God and his creation is awesome. Human beings are a beautiful and valuable creation of God. God is far beyond our imagination and yet he being so great is still concerned about us. We have been given a responsibility over all he has created, we are privileged to be part of his creation.
