The hymn extolling the majestic 'glory of God' as displayed in the summer sun as it moves across the cloudless sky from east to west (vv1-6) and 'the law of the Lord', which bless the lives of those who heed it (vv7-13). The hymn completes the cycle of praise started in Ps 18- for the Lord's saving acts, for his glory reflected in creation and his life nurturing law.
