The whole issue of adoption goes back to salvation for me. I wasn't just adopted, I was rescued from a family of liars and murderers. And now my new family cares for me, loves me, is kind to me. I have all the resources of my new family and I love them all.

To be holy and blameless is not within my power. I can work to be a good person, do good deeds, think myself to be a fine upstanding citizen, but that is not what makes me holy. I am holy because I have the Spirit of Jesus Christ in me. As I am in Him, He is in me. The Father sees Him in me and that makes me both holy and blameless and I am consecrated unto Him and have eternal life with Him!

My predistination tells me I can relax in Christ because God has a plan. I need only walk in His Will, in His Word and continue in His plan. The fact of predestination proves to me that there is no such thing as a coincidence. Paul's testimony was one of encouragment to the Ephesians.

To be "in Christ" is to be rescured from a life in bondage to sin and death. I now have eternal life in Him, with Him. I have been adopted into His Family and I am now His daughter. I am blessed to walk under His grace, having a conversational relationship with Jesus Christ, my Friend, my Brother and my Counsel in all things. I have a personal relationship with Christ.
