Adoption occurs when a person chooses to become responsible for someone else and to provide them with all the benefits they would provide to a biological child. God chose all of us has his children and provided us with love and support.

To be holy means to live through God and to teach others about God. I can only stand blameless if I accept God and his son and through Jesus Christ's sacrifice.

Predestination is scary because you don't know what is going to happen. Predestination is comforting in that God has a plan. As long as you choose the right way, you will be included in that plan. I think he brought predestination up to the Ephesians because he wanted them to know that they were part of God's plan.

"In Christ" means to me that I am connected to him. I should take him into account each time I make a decision.
