In reading the scriptures I think the end of the term is when Christ shall return. The comforter came as a guarantee of the promise of Christ to seal or mark the ownership and deposit a downpayment for all who accept salvation thru the blood of Christ to be guided by the move and direction of the Holy Spirit. This we all can receive by God's grace and mercy. Oh taste and see that the Lord is good, His mercy enduredth forever.

God's purpose for our lives is to give him praise. We fulfill that by how we live our lives. If we have Jesus in us we let our light shine so men can see it. We dont have to carry the biggest Bible we can find or go around singing we are christians. Let men see it in how you glorify the the Father in how you live. This relates to Matthew 5:13-16 because it tells you to let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven. Praise the Lord.

The significance to believers is that everything is with Christ. Salvation is for all who accepts it. It is freely given and the purpose is Christ. It relates to the creator in the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost as one. The unity comes when we as believers are on one accord and one mind in Christ Jesus. Reading both scriptures to me it is saying that everything will be in unity when Christ comes in the rapture for the church. He is subject to the Father and he will abolish the rule and authority that satan and death has over the earth, but God will be excluded because He is all and all. It will be established that God is soverign without any challenge.

My eyes were opened to what I was doing in the name of having fun. I did not realize that sex outside of marriage and drugs including prescription drugs taken in excess or belonging to someone else was allowing me to sin and be in bondage to the world. If I had not been redeemed, I probably would not be here to say this. Then I would have no future to receive the blessings God had already promised to me. I am really having fun now loving and worshipping the Lord because of his ultimate sacrifice. I now know how much he loves his children in the precious name of Jesus.

To me this is saying how much God wants us connected to him. He loves us as his children and he wants us to love him. When a child is born their parents love them because they are a part of them. God chose us as a part of him to have a personal relationship with him. We belong to him and he loves us unconditional. We believers should be very encouraged to know that he adopted us into his family even before the world began to be joint heirs to the kingdom with our brother Jesus Christ. We should be obedient to Gods word and humble and full of joy everytime we think about what is in store for his children.

In reading the NKJ He chose us in Him that we should be holy (belong and be devoted to Him) and without blame (without sin) before Him in love. This he did before the foundation of the world. If I accept Jesus and salvation through him I will live devoted to him and sin free. We all make miss judgements and we have a chose to accept it or not, but I would not want to live like that. I want to live like Jesus did. I want to do what is pleasing to God. I want to live his will not mine. I want him to be in control of my life. It is his not my own. I choose Jesus to come into my heart and take up residency there.

I dont see predestination as being scary. I guess before I was in Christ I would look at it as not knowing. To me it is comforting to know that God loved us so much and He is all knowing that He chose us to be Holy and blameless in his sight. He already knew what he wanted for us before the world began. Paul was pleased with the church at Ephesus and he encouraged them to keep the faith and beleif in God because that would sustain them. It is the same for us today. Paul paised God for the Ephsians hearing the word of the Lord and accepting it in pure faith without having to see anything with their physical eyes. You know what I mean. Faith is not faith just because you see something happen, it is what is not seen. We are sons and daughters through Jesus Christ. I am so glad I am saved by His power divine, saved new life sublime, now life is sweet, my joy is complete, I am saved, saved, saved. Praise the Lord

Being in Christ and Christ being in you to me is most important. To me it mean walking, talking and living Christ. It means a personal relationship of obedience then sacrifice. It brings great joy and enables us to receive the promises God has for His children.
