  1. As told to us in Revlations, everything will be summed up and brought together under Christ. All believers will be brought together into God's Kingdom under Christ. Not all will be saved at this point, yet thanks be to God I will be. I will get to see Him face to face. In the original plan God had planned for this moment in time when Sin will be defeated an all blievers will be brought to Him through Christ. In Unity we will be all brought together, those in the present and the saints who have diesn th past.
  2. I have been set free from the clutches of Sin. Not that does not mean that I make wrong choices day by day, yet I do know that I have a Lord and Savior who has given everything to set me free from Sin. What a comforting thought. I was on the long road of slow self destruction as well as negative impact on those around me. It was all about " I / ME " and what could make me happy. The spiral of death was surrounding me until that moment in time that I let Jesus into my heart as my ruler / guide / mentor / friend / coach - in short until I turned my life over to him. Without his redemption I would be dead. I mean that literally, spiritually and emotionally. I know it because I have seen it in others - the walking dead. All the time God is Good God is Good all the time
  3. Paul tells us in Romans that he would gladly give his life for his Brothers to Believe and Accept God. He goes on to tell us of the wonderful, unmerited gifts God gives to His chosen people of Israel. thus putting for the linkage direct to God. To know and understand that I as a Gentile, similar to those of old, have been gifted to be adopted by God as his son is many times too much to absorb. With this gift comes a wonderful responsibility to act in accordance with the principles which He has laid out for me.
  4. To be 'set apart' to God which is for his purpose. So I am His once iI have given my life, accepted his Grace and begun to act accordingly. What an awesome thought and gift. To be chosen prior to time with the sole purpose of acting in a manner that glorifies God for his joy. Throughout the Bible it talks about 'walking blameless'. For me it is best described in Psalm 119 1 Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD. 2 Blessed are they who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart. 3 They do nothing wrong; they walk in his ways.
  5. Early in my adoption into God's family, when I first believed, the thought of predestination, adoption and election were those comforting ideas I needed to stay the path. While I cannot say that I fully comprehend the concept, there has never been a bit of fear associated with this idea. Totally the opposite - comfort. Along the way of understanding I came to see that there was also a responsibility on my part to 'glorify god' in all I say and do as my role in predestination. So before there was time, an eternity before, there was a plan for me to use my fruits to glorify God, then came my execution of the plan. The sad part is that I know family and friends who have heard the Word, yet still choose not to believe and as a result, right now, I may not see them in Heaven. I believe that Paul, a Jew, brings up the topic to insure that the Gentiles understand that they are chosen as well and will have all the rewards God can give as they continue to Believe. This also shows God's love for us. God is all the time! All the time God is Good!
