This was mostly before His day began, before He was distracted with the busyness of the day. At this time He could clearly hear The Father's instructions and guidance needed for the day. The disciples were more concerned about the people who wanted Jesus's miracles, but Jesus was impelled to preach the gospel, because. thst is what The FATHER had told Him to do.
